I told them but only my non-JW family believed it.

I'm so refreshed now that I have found the real Jesus. Serving and worshipping Him is so much more enjoyable than serving a publishing company and its minions. And I actually get in a lot more 'time' every month without having to report it to some janitor or window washer.

Then and now - military service
by larc inrecently, i had a phone conversation with onacruise.
he encouraged me to write about the early years of life as a jw.
later, i talked to alanf and he encouraged me to do the same thing.

Fox's Book of Martyrs Chapter 2 disagrees with the WTBTS position several times.

ok, door to door question.......
by freedom96 ini am always teasing my wife about having a "country club" upbringing as a witness.. in the hall i grew up in, and those i attended for a few years after turning 18, were pretty hard core.
i tease her about how easy she had it.
which, in my mind was clearly the case, but that is another story.. this case involves going out in service.. in my halls, you went out almost regardless of weather.

I try to forget the torture. Since becoming a Christian my thought process has improved considerably.
For instance:
Jesus knows how much time I put in so that saves me a lot of time and over the course of my life a few trees.
I don't have to carry a bible or heavy bag loaded with the Witch Tower and other twisted scripture study aids.
It's a real joy and privilege to talk with people about Jesus and his Grace without having to wear myself out walking from door-to-door and house-to-house fighting off ill tempered dogs and homeowners.
Return visits don't hide from me when I see them at the store.
I don't have to stand in line to get Field Service magazines.
However, I do miss hearing all the dirty laundry about other brothers and sisters and how their elder husbands should have got an education so they could have the 'nice things in life' from all the pioneer sisters.

According to the JW's, everybody who has ever lived will have a resurrection. The righteous ones (read : the JW's), will be resurrected to live forever on a paradise earth. The unrighteous ones (read : non JW's), will be resurrected, only to be destroyed again, this time forever and ever.

why do JW try to alienate reality
by paradox213 inwhat i mean by this is how can they believe a baby shouldn't have both parents?
i truly believe both mother and father should be united together for their baby.
i posted a question regarding marrying outside the jw earlier... please help me understand this atrocity.

Don't go through the Hell from the WTBTS I am going through.
Hire a good lawyer.
Research the internet for WTBTS screwups with blood, doctrines, etc.
Get the Custody Booklet off the internet, print it and introduce it in court before you file for custody if you are able to do so.
Fight the WTBTS with what works best... their own publications.

A JWD / Knowledge Jones ...
