  Looking Back, Did You Notice Many JWs Had Drinking, Drug or Mental Issues?

  as an elder, i saw many people that were affected by booze, drugs and mental health issues.

  a lot of witnesses fought depression and turned to other things when they realized they couldn't keep up the pace and find inner happiness with what they did do..

  the recent socal rain storms had me needing to go to a launrdomat to dry some clothes.

  so i get inside and see that one of the friendly neighborhood jehovah's witnesses has left a little dish of spiritual food.

  being the benevolent soul that i am, i took my handy pen and added some additional spice to the bland spiritual food offered by the watchtower.. .

  greetings to you all from scotland!

  it's nice to finally be able to say hello to you all, having been a long time reader of the forum.. i put off signing up as i didn't feel i had much to contribute, but if i'm honest, seeing atlantis' post about confidential information pushed me into it.. i hope i can get round to writing my story - i always enjoy reading others and it never ceases to amaze me how many have had similar experiences.. so there goes my first post!.

  so, i have it on very good authority that a co has recently been disfellowshipped in the uk.

  he has just finished serving the north west london area.

  i don't know any details but perhaps there is someone who does know what happened.

  Unfortunately, I remember all too well the always worn out feeling and the constant hounding.

  The best medicine is take the following dosage:

  1. Turn cell phone off or let all incoming calls go to voice mail.

  2. Take a 6 month break from all things JW and see how much better you feel.

  3. Don't answer the door under any circumstances.

  4. If by chance you encounter a member of the BOE while out in public start coughing and tell him you are too sick to talk.

  5. Tell JW family that you are too depressed and overworked to get out of bed on Saturday morning.

  JWs Could Learn A Lot from the First Baptist Church

  the other day i found a red plastic bag hanging on the knob of our exterior door.

  it contained a calendar with beautiful landscape scenes and scriptures for every month of the year.

  i'm not a bible believer, but i hung up the calendar because of the pretty pictures.
