- "Does God Exist?"
- "Who is God"?
They will say, “We did this ourselves."
there are 2 questions that generate more pain, suffering & death, than any other question in existence.. these 2 questions are :.
"does god exist?".
"who is god"?.
i have looked at the jw talk forums every now and again.
is it any use making a profile to get in?
mainly just to laugh at the pathetic discussion that they carry on with.
my wife and i just found out that our disassociation was announced last night.
we....are...free!.
i'd like to take a moment to thank some people:.
in the early writings of the bible its mentioned that the israelites worshiped false gods, gods of the stars and other celestial bodies.
ezekiel even bloviates against this in his writings and king josiah is said to have abolish these practices.
jeremiah mentions that god would even destroy the city were sun worship was being practiced a place called bethshemesh in egypt.
Nice points crazy, I believe that you're on to something for sure. Outside of scriptures & history, this can be considered With Logic & Reason alone.
The God that created the Universe, is a God of Order, when he sets one law in place, he does not at a later time scrap that law, and replace it. If this God were to change principles in nature, because he was emotional or mad.. The Universe would fall apart..
Wih this Unchangeable nature in Mind.. Things like this can't happen - Prov 12:10 "Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel." Compared to Joshua 11:6 "Joshua did to them as the LORD had directed: He hamstrung their horses and burned their chariots."
I don't know when and where the different Gods interchange, however it seems to be a sure thing, that there were many or several Gods. Another forum member, recently brought this to my attention- "Stephen, the first martry, quoted someting in Isaiah about when Israel wandered for 40 years they weren't following God but following a different one and his star."
i popped into the supermarket for a few things after work today and found myself walking up an aisle alongside a couple who used to be in my tuesday group.
i see them reasonably often and always say hello much to their obvious annoyance.
i noticed that ian was sporting a shaggy beard.
new here but looking forward to joining in some of the discussions with you all.. a small bit about me: i'm shane.

ray franz who gave us insight into the gb due to a crisis of conscience was an absolute moron, with absolutely no critical thinking skills whatsoever like all of us have.
i mean, to have a conscience based on some magic man in the sky.. how stupid can you be?
in search of christian freedom?

Psalm 49:7 - Truly no man can ransom another, or give to God the price of his life,
the vedas are the core sacred texts for the people of the east.
generally the vedas are to the east as the hebrew scriptures are to the west.
supporters of the bible, boast of it's scientific accuracy, prophetic accuracy & general infallibility.
DoofdDaddy - Thanks for the link, which contains a quote, further emphasizing my point.. Oppenheimer - “access to the Vedas is the greatest privilege this century may claim over all previous centuries.”
Are you implying that Oppenheimer was actually some type of Cult Leader?
Perhaps you're saying that this is a Cult kind of like Scientology, but instead of Having Tons of Celebrities as Members, This Cult has Top-Tier Physicists,Philosophers & Politicians?
You might be onto something..
