Jesus had Nowhere to Lay his Head....
by Muddy Waters inso jesus had nowhere to lay his head.
he had a huge following and reputation... with no tv, publishing company, big bethel house, branch offices, literature offers, requests for field service time, judicial committees held in secret star-chambers, disfellowshipping & shunning rules and big procedures for "reinstatement"... .
so why does wts do all these things??

How does this, "But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing," Matt 6:3 correspond to Monthly reporting of your "helping the needy" down to the hour?? -

Need best info on why Jesus could never have chosen org in 1918?
by GodZoo inhi folks... i was playing a tiny online ipad multiplayer war game last night and one started a dialogue with a another player i was attacking.
in it he quoted a scripture.. and it turns out he he is a 25 year serving jw.
possibly an elder... well.. i spent 6 hours tapping away with one finger in the chat box until 8am this morning with him about all the issues on sex abuse, the money grab and most importantly the subject of jesus turning his attention to the earth and selecting the then bibles students as his one and only people based on what they were teaching (spiritual food) back then.. he knows nothing about any of the current and historic child sex abuse cases (never heard of candice conti etc) and even less about the insane early teachings or russell etc.. i completely blew his mind in our 6 hour text chat not to mention my index finger nearly falling off!.

From the late 1800's to 1935 - Jehovah's Witnesses taught that The Jewish people were Gods Chosen Nation. The organization taught that the New Covenant was for the Jews.
So to answer your question : if Jesus chose the organization in 1919, why didn't any one inform the organization of this selection until 1935?
ask your new friend why the Org removed the word "double" from Isaiah 40:2 - This scripture was used heavily by the early Watchtower to prove that the Jews would reinhabit Palestine in the near future (Which happened in 1948).

How dishonest was the Apostle Paul?
by opusdei1972 inmay be some of you will be shocked by this question.
however, when i was studying the bible with critical eyes i detected that paul ( or saul of tarsus) misquoted the hebrew bible in order to get false support for his arguments.
of course, this tricky kind of use of the "scriptures" was not only used by him, but others, like the author of the gospel of matthew got unsupported doctrines misquoting verses.

In Lost Scriptures, Books that Did Not Make It into the New Testament, Bart D Ehrman writes on the Letter of Peter to James:
"The Letter of Peter to James" is one of a number of early Christian writings pseudonymously written in the name of Jesus' disciple, Simon Peter... It does not survive as an independently transmitted letter, but only as the preface to the "Homilies of Clement" a collection of legendary stories and sermons of Clement of Rome ...
The Letter of Peter urges James to pass along the accompanying sermons carefully to those who are worthy to receive them, and to no one else.
The clear concern is that Peter's teachings not be corrupted by those who have a different understanding of the truth. Both the Letter and the Reception are Jewish Christian in their orientation, as seen in their emphasis on emulating the actions of Moses, on keeping the Law, and on opposing the person Peter calls "the man who is my enemy." Peter's opponent here is commonly understood to be none other than the apostle Paul ( Gal 2:11-14) who taught that salvation comes to all people, Jew and Gentile, apart from following the Law of Moses, and who urged Gentiles not to be circumcised (Gal. 5:2-12)."
Verse 5: "For to do such a thing means to act contrary to the law of God which was made known by Moses and was confirmed by our Lord in its everlasting continuance. For he said: "The heaven and the earth will pass away, but one jot or one title shall not pass from the law.
Verse 6: "This he said that everything might come to pass. But those persons who, I known not how, allege that they are at home in my thoughts wish to expound the words which they have heard of me better than I myself who spoke them. To those whom they instruct they say that this is my opinion, to which indeed I never gave a thought.
Verse 7: "But if they falsely assert such a thing while I am still alive, how much more after my death will those who come later venture to do so?"
Chapter 2 verse 3: "For some from among the Gentiles have rejected my lawful preaching and have preferred a lawless and absurd doctrine of the man who is my enemy.
Verse 4: "And indeed some have attempted, whilst I am still alive, to distort my words by interpretations of many sorts, as if I taught the dissolution of the law and, although I was of this opinion, did not express it openly. But that may God forbid! -

the current governing body is completely liberal, but as yet has some bethelites the old guard working, they are still holding some behaviors .... but very soon you will see ... even in my congregation is very liberal ... not here disassociates for immorality .. just for apostasy ... i fucked three sister, but the elders did not shunned me, but they only help me!

If you have not done so already, I'd recommend that you read the Bhagavad Gita. This and other "Vedas" outdate the Bible, and are much more "God Like" -

Why are Battle Against Faith
by Jonathan Drake inif any are willing, share your fact based reasons for viewing faith as dangerous.
viewing faith as dangerous is the reason for almost all of my posts recently.
what seems constant is that theists are too focused on there own little world to realize how and why faith is so damaging to society.

The moral problem of Ephesians 5:23
by opusdei1972 infor the husband is the head of the wife as christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the savior.
(ephesians 5:23).
if jesus is the head of the church, jesus is responsible for the many contradictions contained in the new testament.

Jesus is not the "Head" of the Church, it is Paul who Created Christianity, and whose teachings, flood the Christian Churches of today.
Jesus and Paul Taught completely different Lessons.
