Some of you may remember my post a couple of days ago about my Dub friend who I raised the issue of the UN with. Well I shall call her C. C is a LARGE girl to say the least. She is huge and extremely unhappy about it but refuses to believe that constant snackng on sweets and crisps has anything to do with it... C called me last night and said that she had attended the Arse-embly for the weekend and she was actually very low. I asked her why and she said she felt lonely. I asked her to explain and she said: "Well when I left the JW's for those few years (she was FREE for 5 years and then returned...never DF'd) I had no problem meeting men and havig fun". C was married to a Greek chap who she met at work back in South Africa... she married him to get an EC passport in order to move to Blighty. Something I was against big time! She later discovered that she had an English grandparent and could make a claim that way. This chap smacked her around a lot and she ended up divorcing him (thank god). C is 27 yo this year. Now when she left her husband she had a couple of months of being "naughty" and she dabbled in *shock, horror* fornication and even once had a smoke with me! Ahhh C was fun in those days! Now she tells me she had some "brothers" sncikering at her during the Arse-embly and she feels she is never going to meet a nice "brother". She said when she was not a dub she had so much fun, but knows this was Satans way of snaring her...BY ENJOYING LIFE? Anyway, the long and short of it is that I suggested she re-think her dub status. She got VERY upset by that and immediately went down the line of "If I am meant to meet a man, then Jehovah will provide one". FUCK ME BACKWARDS WITH A BASEBALL BAT. I said "For god's sake C, do you REALLY think with all that is going on in the world and even in the borg, that Jah has "Should C have a husband or not" on his agenda??? She did not reply. But she is so sad. I left her with the thought.. does she feel the "truth" has set her free?
When will they learn? If ever?!!!!!

im thinking of a new business venture "the apostate tour company".
we could visit very symbolic places of interest for the so called "apostates"starting off at the bar we would have a few pints and whisky to consult the spirits with a ceremonial toast.after we get a little wired we would get on the apostate bus and head over to see the grave site of pastor russell and on the way partake in a ceremonial weedfest.upon arriving we would all have our pictures taken beside the cross on the pyramid of this great leader.our next venture would be the headquarters in ny to see where all the little stories are made up and check out all the hot sisters and brothers.we could end our tour at the hotel having a wild party and participate in worldly drinking games while engaging in gross sexual misconduct1.

it nice to be entertained by a good tv programme or film.but there is some terrible rubbish produced also.. but nothing can prepare a person for the atrocity that is the convention drama!.
it would first be hyped up by the chair man at the begining of the assembley as a highlight to be looked forward to.often it was a high- light for very different reasons.. first of all you need to know that in britian they use the american duved vioces in the drama.. now theres nothing wrong with american voices , i'm sure you all sound lovley , but this is britian we do not have american accents.. we do not use all of the same words.
and unfortunatly this is american acting at its worst.. the result is an embarassing soap opera style dialogue that at my local convetion was heared all over the city centre , as our assembly was in a open air sports stadium right in the middle of town.. yes i can hear it in my head now the corny voices of moses , pharoh , jesabel.i can see the arms of the actors waving franticly in the air the gross over gesturing and parading of the cast.. and the names "randy , do-you-not-know gawd (hands in the air)hates.

Don't knock it 'til you tried it! I was a "star" in one Drama! It was the modern day drama and I got the coveted part of the younger brother of the "naughty" daughter who had been involved in wrong doing! I was one of the whistle blowers who after much prayer to Jah decided to tell the truth and clear my conscience! I too developed this amazing American accent! It was fab! And the fact that the words roared out thru the hall, but my lips never moved (kinda reminds me of Victoria Beckham's perfomance at Leicesters Party in the Park last summer) was quite amazing! I remember all the praise that was heaped on me afterwards by all and sundry who said how much they appreciated the effort put in and the acting! LOL...ACTING?
So until YOU have had the honour of acting in a Drama, no more negative comments please!! I learned that scoring brownie points was easy when you could name drop the drama you starred in and the fact that I was the good guy in it! Not as thrilling as being interveiwed at a convention though.. as a pioneer having just been accepted to Bethel... and telling all how far I had come... the fact that half in attendance knew that less than three years earlier as an undunked publisher I had been publically reproved for shagging Derek, the elders son, did not need to be mentioned in detail. I remember all the elders that came up to me and told me how proud they were at how I had come to kick that evil habit (sucking cock I think) and that Jah was obviously blessing me now! Of course I did not take into consideration the fact that I spent lunch times wandering around scoping the talent WITH a group of sisters!!! Jehovahs Witness Fag Hags and they had NO idea!!!

i took the chance and brought up the un thing with her... her immediate reaction?

"It's not true", I told her it was and that she was welcome to check out the UN web site or the Gaurdian Newspaper and she immediately said: "Brit, A. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. B. It's a lie and C. This is obviously the work of apostates. I explained that it was possible and that it was not a lie. She then went on to say that there has been some sort of mistake and she would ask her P.O about it. I asked her why she did not check the info herself and she said no she would get the TRUTH from her P.O!!
What I find so interesting is the complete CLOSURE to anything outside what she is comfortable with. She will stay with her Gay Ex JW friend (as I have not been DF'd or DA'd) and his boyfriend but will not think outside the JW box... she used to. She left for about 4 years, but never built up the courage to read anything "apostate". Now she is back in full swing and completely mind fucked!!! WOW. If someone tells me something I am not sure about, albeit in work or personal life, I check it out for myself...

i was about age 12, already bored with the routine of sunday talks, and the 'tower' study.
i had had about two years worth of enduring the repetitive meetings, as a consequence of my parents' conversion.. one sunday turned out to take a decidedly exciting direction.
we were at the kh early in order for my ms stepdad to tend to his duties before the 3:00 public talk.
I remember an incident when I brought my boss to the meeting and he was a smoker. He was standing outside the KH smoking his fag shaking hands with all who walked past him... I remember at the time thinking how funny this was as the horrified faces tentatively shook hands with the man while maintaining eye contact with his fag! I was counselled after he left for "allowing" him to smoke! He did not know any better and I was 18 at the time, I had explained to him that he should not really smoke at the hall, but I guess he took that to mean he could not smoke inside! LOL... something as silly as a ciggy can cast such FEAR into their hearts (and faces)
I also remember a blazing row between two MS's over something. The one was a new Bethelshite and he was an arrogant little shit, honestly thinking himself gods gift to all. He was an expert at throwing ALL his toys out his cot if he did not get his own way! What a turd he was... anyway, he got into a huge row with a really sweet MS and the arrogant little shit was to blame for the argument, but he got told to go outside and calm down, while the other bro was taken off into the *shudder* Back Room where he emerged a few minutes later very shaken. I found him in the loos during the meeting sobbing his heart out. This bro was NOT a Bethelshite... Mmmmmmmm
