  sedsjpatyahoodotcom just sent me an pm which forwarded l_velma's pm that i previously got.

  who are these people and why are they essentially allowed to spam on this site?

  my response to them was that i feel their message is as offensive as jws bringing their crap to my door (which they cannot do because i live in a gated community), completely unacceptable, offensive and annoying!.

  lookie what i just got today from a friend who just got back from england:.

  makes number 13 in my collection.

  so far i have, hollywood, la jolla, san deigo, las vegas, aspen, honolulu, new orleans, orlando, phoenix, nashville, athens and madrid.. i ask everyone i know who's traveling to get me one of these plus the ones i get myself while traveling.. does anyone else here collect from hard rock cafe?

  I'll let you know very soon about the aposta curry, my wife will have to try and get that day off work (an alien concept to most in the north - that's where my 40% tax goes, to pay for the northeners giro cheques!).

  My 40% tax goes to all the single mums and grandmothers and great grandmothers ala Vicky Pollard here in the midlands. Grrrr don't get me started on this one.... ever heard of a CONDOM girls??????

  Thank goodness for flights from Londons 4 (four) international airports all with connections direct to Glasgow.

  I take it you are including Luton in those four? Luton is more than 30 miles from London (50km), and a city in it's own right. Why even Gatwick is another county!!! Even Heathrow is pushing it... London City Airport I'll give you!!!

  sure we got to know a lot of people, we knew a lot more people then the average person, but how many real friends did we ever have?

  a friend that we could trust, that we could confine in.

  i can say i had just one, bro x and even then i still had to be careful, bro x is an elder now and he tells me that im the only real friend hes ever had, he cant freely talk to anyone.

  One. And to this day she is still my closest friend. She has one foot in the borg still... everytime I try to talk to her about their shortfalls and hypocrisy she tells me she is not yet ready to hear it. She does not want to be a JW, but her family have a hold over her. She also still thinks it's the truth too... She told me in our last phone call that she does not care if she dies at arm-a-gonna-geddit because the thought of living "forever" fills her with dread at the boredom of it all.

  Ian, lowden,Ironhead and S A B, you guys crack me up I had no idea Brits were so territorial! I would love to get to that part of the world someday I've always wanted to see what it's like there.

  There is a MASSIVE North-South divide in the UK. Then when you start factoring in the Welsh & the Scottish and the Cornish, you get a whole other territorial issue! And to think we live on an Island roughly the size of the State of Ohio it makes for interesting times! The territories are then further broken down when it comes to football (soccer). Me, I just like everyone... especially the Welshmen.... man those accents....

  I love these "speeches" given by the neighbours... that old dear on Central News the other night about the potential terrorist living down her street was a classic!!! Personally, I would be down there like a SHOT in case Jonathon Swain from GMTV was there... he is TOTALLY shaggable!

  How am I feeling? Quite fabulous despite a hangover this morning... went out in Brum last night... started and ended in the Malmaison bar... each round of 3 drinks costing £27.90 meant my wallet took a hammering, but BOY where those drinks delicious!!

  I thought England's fair and pleasant land always looks better on a sunny day, that's why I choose to live in the south east - I hate the rain!

  It is a great poem (written by Mr Paul Heaton...who is my God)! And an even better song by the Beautiful South!!!
