  i ran across a facebook site entitled "ask a jehovah's witness anything.".

  it seems to be run by jw elders for jws and studies who are seeking information about "the truth.".

  they don't want apostates there or wt bashing.. i wonder if some people here would like to go to that site and ask questions.. of course, it would be easy to say stuff there that would get you banned.. i think the challenge would be to be respectful and see how long they will tolerate genuine questions.. i don't know how much follow-up they will allow.. of course, if you're fading, that's not a place to post.. .

  hey folks.

  just need to check in.

  due to an injury, i had to start taking some pretty powerful pain killers and stayed on them for about 1 1/2 months until i finally had surgery this past wednesday.

  I'm postponing my JW elderette and her BS session again

  i really do have more important things to do this week, so i am postponing my elderette again.

  she has not yet contacted me for her "topic of discussion" for the week.

  i know she wants time to prepare her speech and presentation.

  running into DF'd ones in public. One was at a meeting or seminar with her, and she claimed that "since I did not know the details or story behind what had happened, I did say hello

  What on Earth? That's a new one.

  She is not supposed to "know the story behind". She is supposed to follow jehoopla's commands unquestioningly.

  Saying hello to a DF person is a serious offense. She now shares in his/her sin.

  on the back of the memorial invitation is a box containing a strange pattern that is edged by three small boxes that each hold three small black squares within.

  beneath the pattern is a series of numbers and letters.. how is this code scanned?.

  Thanks. Yes I've had a lot of hammering but perhaps not the kind to remove some of my personality flaws. And I'd like a rubber mallet that can remove my bluntness. It does not serve me well most times. It gets me into trouble.

  Nauseating JW.org section for small children - CUTOUTS? Really?

  i am not hot linking to jw borg, but they have a whole section for obviously very small children (become j's friend, with a whole array of caleb-related stuff).

  i have actually never visited the site, today was the first time, because i wanted to check a technical information about their websites architecture and came across this sh*t!.

  the way they are targeting small kids is nauseating me (i have a 5 year old, still in with her mother).
