I guess I'm missing how the OP relates to Hitler, slavery, ritual human sacrifice.
The story mentioned in the OP states:
County Galway death records showed that the children, mostly babies and toddlers, had died, often of sickness or disease, during the 35 years the home operated from 1926 to 1961
and
The researcher, Catherine Corless, has said her discovery of child death records from the home run by Catholic nuns in Tuam, County Galway, suggested that many of the children's remains lie in the site of an old septic tank.
and
A 1944 government inspection recorded evidence of malnutrition among some of the 271 children then living in the Tuam orphanage alongside 61 unwed mothers. The death records cited sicknesses, diseases, deformities and premature births as causes. In the first half of the 20th century Ireland had one of the worst infant mortality rates in Europe, with tuberculosis rife.
So neglect resulting in an early death rate greater than that of the rest of the country (which was already one of the worst rates in Europe), and a "suggested" disrespectful burial practice, along with admitted maltreatment of the moms. That's bad enough.

800 Infant Bodies Found in a Septic Tank at Roman Catholic Children's Home
by cofty in796 infant skeletons have been found discarded in a septic tank at the former mother and baby home run by the catholic church in ireland between 1925 and 1961.. unwed mothers were sent these "magdelene asylums" to be treated like criminals.
their babies - if they survived - were taken from them.
if they did not survive their bodies were thrown into a septic tank and forgotton.

Troll Accusations
by Frazzled UBM ini have noticed that some of us are a bit too eager to label new posters as trolls.
while it is clear that there are some posters who just like to stir up trouble or are out and out apologists there are others who are witnesses starting to have genuine doubts and so ask questions but then when they see the responses the cognitive dissonance kicks in and they push back and argue with what they are being told.
this can lead to very negative reactions from jwn members and accusations that the person is a troll.

Payment for sins
by InChristAlone inif death is the payment for one's sins, and a person lives through armageddon and beyond without dying, how does that person pay for their sins?

The do not call list
by LisaRose ini have posted before about my experience trying to get on the "do not call" list.
despite repeated requests, a phone call to the hall and mailing a letter, and then giving a copy to a jw, they just keep coming by.
i was going to put up a no soliciting sign, then i can call the police on them, but my husband doesn't want me to do it.. so, i decided if they come back i would have some fun.

I just thought of a great answer to any JC grilling a person for suspected apostasy.
When they ask, "do you believe in the Governing Body and their teachings?", just reply, "I'm from the Philippines".
ROFL!

Hi OP and welcome.
Click on the button on the top called "members". Look how many there are! You can't really generalize about all of us based on a few posters.
I think the best thing about this forum is its sense of humor.

Google AAWA and do a search on here if you want to know about it.
In any case, IMO cult memorial observations are a good thing.

I was "totally" stopped in my tracks by an "atheist" comment.
by booker-t ini must admit i can at times be a little "egotistical" when it comes to knowledge and the bible.
i have studied the bible for so long and have always had a passion for the bible as a jw and as an ex-jw.
i guess that is all i have left when it comes to religion and as humans we do tend to stroke our egos.

So why woudl God go through the trouble of "hiding" this massive even from just a few thousand years ago, from the fossil record? Why would he allow us to see all of history...except for the flood?
And then tell someone to write a book about it and demand they believe it just because the book says so. And to believe all that in an incredibly inaccurate book , at that.
