I have written a blog post about the dubs and their scorn of modern medicine and Rasputin, while simultaneously touting unproven, dangerous cures.
I wonder what it is about a fake remedy that makes jws believe in it or scorn it?

the new forum originally had a little country flag next to each post showing the country that the post was made from based on the geoip encoding (the country the ip address is from).
before i switched over to the new site someone made an issue about it violating their privacy and i didn't want to complicate and confuse the switchover with policy debate at the same time as technical issues so removed the flags even though i disagreed.. someone has already requested it as a feature and i think it should be added back so i thought it's now time to open the discussion and get everyone's opinions.
first, the reason i think it should be shown:.
This may be of interest. Here is a list of countries and the number of jws in each (full disclosure--it's from Wikipedia).
You can see there are some really small countries with small numbers of jws. Would the geolocator pick up on those, or would they be aggregated into a certain region? Is there a way to check?
Of course, even in those, you can obscure your other details. Either don't mention or change unimportant details in stories you tell so they don't lend themselves to being found by Google. For example, avoid mentioning genders, specific place names where things happened, unusual quotes, etc.
So back to the stats, let's remember there are even more ex-jws.

I agree it is not too private to reveal one's country. City, maybe. There could be a person from an extremely tiny country who might want that info concealed, but I suppose that's an obscure situation and the benefit to the many outweigh the detriment to the few.
For that person, s/he could use other ways to obscure his identity when posting (concealing certain details in one's posts).
i am proud to be a jehovah's witness in the last days, what religion has done this much to proclaim the message about the organization?
other religions are preaching about jesus, some wear the crucifixion, other's wear shirts with fishes but we wear shirts with jw.org!
no other religion has our courage!.
does shunning accomplish its objectives:.
make the person repent?.
deter others from committing similar offenses in the future?.
1. a shitty start we don't have to wait more than 4 verses of genesis 6 to put our feet in a big stinky bullshit :.
consequently, jehovah saw that mans wickedness was great on the earth and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only bad all the time.
jehovah regretted that he had made men on the earth, and his heart was saddened.

(one page, with only one motel locally).
one nights deposit (credit card, money order, etc.,) is required, and should be sent to the hotel within ten days of making your reservation.

power which the demons posess of being able to draw out of the mediums body connected streams of the cells of which her body is composed, and then changing the form of these living cells into any desired appearance. They thus transform the medium into a hideous octopus-like creature
No WAY!! smh. wow.
this is the reason seances occur in a dimly lit room, with the medium in a cabinet
Yeah, it's not because the medium is playing a hoax on everyone which won't work if they can see her do it. Because Occam's Razor isn't true at all. 8~
