over the years, i have seen a change in heart with the country i grew up in and the general view of what they perceive as how everyone should view things in relation to morality.

a strictly religious country for centuries now forever changed within a short number of years.

i have also seen the viewpoint on this site gradually change in many ways.

This site doesn't order armies to rape, capture, torture and kill. We don't threaten to torture and kill most of humanity in the future. We don't condone slavery, misogyny and child abuse--like God does.

The tv show started out a little slow. I was thinking, "How interesting could it be if it's only about 1 person?" It's totally different than I expected, and very interesting.

I'm fascinated by it. I have often thought about what it would be like if most people were gone. I don't think it would be anything like TNS doctrine. We'd have a huge supply of leftover stuff to use, but we'd have to figure out how to make electricity, run water, etc.

what would happen if we started dropping fake check or bills inside the donation box of an assembly?

i know, is a crime, but so is pushing someone to not accept blood and die.

would it help skew the numbers enough if enough of us did it?.

I think if you make it clear that it's non-negotiable then it's not a crime. I think we looked this law up when the fake checks were put in donation boxes before.

i'm curious, even though jws must fight and resist, how many secretly hope that their loved one is forced a blood transfusion so they can live and their conscious is cleared of having done everything possible to not have one?

or you have felt guilty and upset about it no matter what?

I used to secretly wish that would happen.

Unfortunately the elders did practice drills with me on how to lie about the extent of my blood loss, then trick staff to leave the room, pull out the IV and escape. I never had to do any of that because no one ever tried to give me blood products while I was a jw.

Why participate in this religious ritual (CO visit)? If you can't say no directly for some reason, there must be dozens of excuses you could come up with. Appendicitis has a nice ring to it.

wts posted a picture of an Armageddon countdown card on its website near the anniversary of the end-of-the-world prediction not coming true in October 1914.

They launched a televangelism feature on their website and ask for $.

They have cartoon characters to brainwash kids.

They lost an enormous lawsuit for hiding sex abuse of kids (not paid yet).

They use tablets in field service.

There is no book study meeting.

They have sign language videos on their website and one of them shows masturbation to orgasm (female and male) graphically. It made international news. There are other, equally ridiculous videos as well.

They're selling the Crooklyn property and moving upstate.
