i commented on this on another thread- but i believe this has enough importance to create a thread about this situation in and of itself.
at the current district convention as you know the wt society released a " sophie & caleb " video allegedly warning parents about the dangers of child abuse.
they don't really use the words " child abuse " in the video - but just say if " someone tries to touch you in a manner you aren't comfortable with " and portray it as a cartoon !
Seriously, the molester is an imaginary monster grunting at the children?
The "don't talk to strangers" campaign was harmful to children. Kids didn't understand that 'stranger' could mean 'someone I know really well who smiles and is good looking'. Therefore, they developed a false sense of trust in people they know and an irrational fear of those they don't.
This cartoon sounds much worse than that.

he hates black people and probably regrets not killing even more.. what does it really mean to forgive?.
if the legal system asked the victims relatives what they want done next would they ask for dylaan to go free and unpunished?.

you just can't use the same vowel points because some vowels aren't paired with some consonants in pronouncing hebrew words.

I was just recalling being told being an intelligent girl was a liability in the borg. Boys wouldn't be attracted to me because they would feel intimidated or worry I wasn't going to be a subservient wife.

Obviously it's a good thing for "trustees" to take personal responsibility seriously. I am and have been on boards--those that do understand it act in a more responsible/legal fashion. It's a good thing.
And we can help make a difference by advocating for enforcement of such laws.
