Thanks for these Blondie - and just for the record, I wouldn't wash anyone else's feet unless a tad Brahms or money changed hands beforehand...lol

What is the next flash of New Light?
by Pole ini personally feel they will have to "adjust" the fds doctrine.
the tricky thing is that the fds (whoever they are) won't approve this change while they're still alive.
they don't care, they subconsciously feel it's their end anyway and they won't undermine their doctrinal position having lost all corporate power.. so who will send this beam of new light?

The FDS is God's earthly channel - relaying 'Spiritual food' at the correct time - all from God - so the ORIGINAL FDS (at the turn of the previous Century) were either faking or receiving information from elsewhere (or just dreaming it) - their prophesies proved WRONG (and God would make this information CLEAR as so many lives depended on it)......and it goes on over the years...one false prophesy after another, ALL originating with God??lol

Never ending JWism.....AAAgh!
by Gill indid you , when you were a 'proper' jw, or even a jw of any description, believe that after armageddon you wouldn't have to go to the meetings and out on field service anymore?
surely, after armageddon the control and work from jehovah would get even greater and the nightmare of being a jw would truly never end.. do you get my drift or have i had too much merlot?.
i ask this because my father told me that 'they' needed all these new khs for when the dead are resurrected and they have to look after them and study with them.

BUT the Society didn't HAVE to join as an NGO to OBTAIN said library card (as I understand) - so there has to be another reason. Anyway - what has the UN library got that is sooooo important it takes 10 yaers to absorb? Is this information passed on to the ''flock''?
Another thing - the Society withdrew from the UN in 2001 - was this because the policy changed that year (UN library thing due to 9/11) OR because that's when they were exposed?

JW's were allowed to take blood at one time?
by ithinkisee inhttp://members.aol.com/beyondjw/da.htm
in this disassociation letter example it says the following:.
"at one time, all blood products were unacceptable.

1925 - The man who frequently donates blood for transfusion is commended. (Golden Age, 7/29, p. 683, #52).
So it's ok to give but not receive? - I know that a lot of ideas have
flip-floppedprogressed - and that Scriptures are now being interpretedmanipulatedto mean different things - but surely some things are black and white and GOD wouldn't expect us to have to wonder WHAT he means by something in a life threatening situation. -

Both the Watchtower and "You Know" are wrong, wrong, WRONG!
by Schizm inwill people who die at armageddon really be finished forever?
yes, the scripture says that they will be "killed" but not thrown into the lake of fire.
but what about the scripture at revelation 17:8?

Hey - I'm a child of my mother, who is an active JW.... does that mean I get a "gold card" in???? I mean, since my parent decides my fate
Tash - reading this, I was thinking exactly the same - so we can sin as much as we like so long as our Mum's are loyal JWs?
Didn't Noah preach about the impending flood for 40 years? and everyone dismissed him as mada wonder his Ark never got vandalised on a regular basis while he was building it.

The disappearence of the FDS is a problem
Can someone explain this? I (incorrectly I suppose) believed that the FDS was God's earthly link - relaying Spiritual food, at the right time, from God. I also believed that the Governing Body consisted of them.
If they are physical people, how can they just 'disappear'? - die, yes, I understand - I need EDUCATING.

Ministers visit Sutcliffe twice a week? Wow - bet they'll dine off that for a few years - I wonder if while they're there they are 'advising' about his forthcoming marriage - is he marrying a 'sister' as the Society recommends?

However, congregations have never been instructed to disfellowship those who voluntarily take blood transfusions or approve them
I know an ''older'' 'sister' who was disfellowshipped for having a blood transfusion.
We let the judgment of such violators of God?s law concerning the sacredness of blood remain with Jehovah, the Supreme Judge.
.....and I think things must have changed a lot - I can't recall ONE single case of Jehovah judging what is in individual's hearts.
