I know Im preaching to the chior here, but did you ever realize the JW have every base covered. For instance, If the numbers look like they are climbing, they quote the scripture "a small flock will become a mighty nation". If the numbers are down they Quote the scripture, " the love of the greater number will fall away in those last days". - this is a loose paraphrase of the quotations, but Im sure you all know what Im talking about.

Please help teach my Jewish friends

i am interested in jehovah witness theology, and i at this time write to a jewish news group.

many of my jewish friends are starting to belive in the new testement.

i was hoping that someone could reply to my public post below, so that me and my jewish friends can understand why we should become jehovah witnesses.

Did Gentile Christians celebrate holidays and stuff? Evidence?

does anyone have some good references i can look up on some specific differences between gentile and jewish christians in the first century?.

the reason i ask is because i get the impression from the scriptures that the gentile christians probably even celebrated worldly holidays and attended pagan festivals still - while the jewish christians did not.

perhaps they even looked and dressed differently.

I find it disapointing in general about the fact there is not much info given on FIRST CENTURY CHRISTIANITY! I mean God-bless Josephus and a couple other people... for giving info... But I mean there really isn't that much info. There is no "instruction booklet" that Paul left behind... to give us more info regarding understanding the Scriptures. I don't want to sound heretical... but the Greek Scriptures really is quite general and there is only hints and clues in my opinion. An awful lot of time was spent quoting Hebrew Scripture. Just my opinion.

carey barber, born july 4th 1905 has almost made his century.

fred franz came close at 99 years old, and he died around 1992.. so what does bro barr get for his 100th birthday?

forget it - to him, turning 100 is "just another day.

!!!!! Thanks for providing the photo (can't remember the person's ID because it's on the other page, sorry!) But ouch!!! He is pretty flaming old! Looks like he is going to die soon! Last time I saw him was in the false "Promclaimers of God's Kingdom" book -- Raymond showed me how false that book was!

He looked fit and healthy as and old man! But now I feel sorry for him! I hope he dies in peace! He really doesn't look fit to run anything! I'm almost crying (not because he is a dying JW) but as a natural, normal human emotion when you someone that looks awfully sick. I am almost having tears in my eyes as I write this message! !!!!!!!!!!!

I have to remember what Jesus said about a man on the wayside and one man stops. Looks and moves on again, but the good samaritan came along and help him.

Keep the photos and things coming in! Really appreciate that! Really interesting...

This is not some kinda of "Paedophile victims" video but a basic overview of their teachings in cartoon form. :)

I didn't mean to offend anybody. "I love cartoons!" (Like that Meyer guy on the Simpsons. :) )
