MIL letter to my wife

our kids are in college, also inactive but are baptised.

Send this letter to the local body of elders-- let them know that you will be sending this letter to the media. Someone will be contacting them for an interview to explain why JWs destroy families and why your parents think they are following God's law to not associate with family who has stopped going to the KH meetings.
JW hate publicity- and they want to lie to the public.
2nd, I would ask local churches to call on your parents ( at their home) and have them explain why they have been cruel to family and is that the message of love that Jesus wants them to preach?

My wife has been on blood pressure medication since her early 40's- I am 63 and the doctor couldn't find anything wrong with me at my last yearly physical. . Going back 20 years my BP has always been around 105-110/70-75-- maybe a little closer to 110/70 since my youngest daughter turned 13.
I have an idea-- medicine is toxic and enough of it will cause your kidneys and liver to wear out sooner. My doctor said he couldn't disagree with me.

My Final Goodbye
by Lady Lee ini want to start by saying i will not participate in discussion here about my resignation as a moderator at jwn.. simon please consider this as my resignation from that position.. i have been posting on this board for almost 12 years.
i know some of you a lot, others a little and some not very well at all.
i have remained here for those of you who have needed support as you make the transition out of the wts, who needed someone to listen to your experiences of abuse at the hands of jehovah's witnesses, and to both laugh and cry with you as you progress out of the watchtower society.. we know that we have all experienced the cruelty of abuse of one kind or another.

Thank you , LL - I know you helped me out a couple times, and a belated thank you for that.
I know I have faced my share of JW moral challenges that I didn't run away from and I cheer when I see a poster on the forum meet those challenges head on, instead of fading into the shadows. Silence is what the WT leaders want and shunning is the tool they use to keep the collar and chain on the necks of JWs who want to leave the KH.
That being said, the news media doesn't find stories about JW cruelty and mid control worth very many column inches of news print. I think they subconsciously feel that any JW who has trouble leaving the KH has it coming-ie, a just punishment for waking everyone up on Saturday morning at 9:30AM.- The old, adage, you reap what you sow, is the sword hanging over the neck of any JW who walks out of the KH. I wish public education about the WT publishing scam-religion could make it easier for JWs to leave the KH, but in my 25 years of work it seems like ex-JWs are having more trouble, not less.

today there was a zone overseer talk that he went to in nagoya (southern japan) and it has just finished up.
