i am not a fan of rap, but it occured to me that a rap song would be an ideal vehicle for it.

who has experienced this : ever since leaving the jw's, i've been trying to make "worldy" (i hate that word !!
) associates.
Its hard, I have a big problem with it. As soon as I get close to a girl or just friends I bail, this last time I moved 1200 miles. I'am movin 400 miles in a month or so, I hope I can fix this but its been 6 years. I tell people at the start, one day I will just up and move and I do. I think we have been so programed that you just assume if you are not a witness you are going to be alone. So we take actions to make it that way. For me the group who is sposed to be there for you, the group you learn relationships from your family is nonexistant. So with out that basis for love how do you form other relationships? I hope you work things out, you are not alone (and don't have to be). zman

Religion allows goverment to torment and control. The people fell rewarded for being abused as religion promises better in the "next life" to a martyr. does anyone out there know the procedure to being reinstated?
i have been df'd for almost 5 years now and i'm considering... possibly getting reinstated.
however, i have been to a few meetings in the last few weeks and i am constantly ignored (i thought the elders were allowed to talk to me... there are at least 10 elders) also, i enquired about getting a bible study and was told that i could not have a bible study because df'd people do not get studied with.
Peb if you have the our ministry book aka OM book look on page 149 for re details and as for the eleders you have to go to them in most cases as a dfed person. but jus think about it.
