i know it's not the lightest of topics but the current news coverage of the pope's final hours made me wonder if i'd face things as calmly as he is reported to be doing.

i don't have his faith, or any faith anymore, but i can see how for a true believer that would be a source of strength.. the thing is, a lot of us thought we'd never die.

okay, i know this is personal, but i kind of like the annoninimity of the board versus asking my friends who are all also friends with my husband.. my husband went out of the country with a group from work this weekend.

i was supposed to go but had to cancel due to other stuff.

it turned out only 4 ended up going, my husband, a guy, and two women.

Wouldn't they only have one of the guys' names on a room if the original plan was to have both guys stay in one room? I don't know how these hotel things work.

Possible done on check in, but that means again it was preplanned to be that way at that point.

Good Jealousy - Your significant other sees a person of the opposite sex is overly interested, and makes sure of 2 things:

You know you are loved and appreciated in your current relationship
The other person knows you are taken and appreciated enough wehre you are

Bad Jealousy - Same Scenario as above, however

You have no idea your s/o even cares or notices, then a few hours later you get The Inquizition where you are guilty of everything including twisting the heads off of baby chickens and making porn films whenever you aren't in sight.
Your so begins a capagn of "shock and awe" of juvenile behavior that makes you look like a dumbass for being in such a bad relationship.

So instead of getting a third room, he just sleeps in the room with the other girl. I find this odd, but don't want to be paranoid. At any rate, the girl gets on the phone and assures me nothing has happened, and they even get the other guy from his other room to reassure me that the story is true.

Even if he is not cheating, this is totally inappropriate behavior for anyone who claims to be committed to somoene else...would be different if he called you BEFORE this happened. The other guy is gonna back up the story, that's the way it works.

There's no way to prove it, but if you don't make it a big enough deal (assuming you believe the story), you become the gullible wife that will believe anything. Of course there is the other extreme where you piss him off because he didn't do anything, and he does something out of spite. Man I hate relationships.

You should be beyond furious.

it's refreshing to know that we can say negative things about what we know is wrong about the society, governing body, local elders, the "brotherhood", in general------and not get censured or punished for it......i'll start.------- the organization is run more like the scribes and pharisees than jesus and his disciples.

christ reached out to everyone.

the scribes and pharisees treated everyone else like they were inferior, "worldly", not good enough.
