Introducing myself
by bitca ini've been lurking here for a while, so i figured it's time for me to introduce myself.
i was raised in "the truth".
both of my parents were witnesses, and so were their parents.

Why don't people put anyting in ther bio????
by Lehaa in.
was just looking at the depression post and looking at pepole's biography.. why doesn't a lot of members put anything in there bio.. i undersatnd that many may not want to be identified, but i think bio makes it easier for us to undersand each others history.

$ 150.00, truth, lies, a satellite dish, and an Irish gypsy!
by love11 inmy so called friend acquaintance and neighbor, called me up last night to tell me that her cousin saw some little boy hanging on her satellite dish that is located in her front yard.
she also told me that it is going to cost her $150.00 for a repair man to come out and fix it.
i asked her when this happened and she said between 4-4:30 pm.

Anyways......what do you think, what should I do?
You should let me know if you are in or close to Rochester, NY, Raleigh, NC, or Terre Haute IN and I can get that dish adjusted for free, if it's a dish network dish...

Role-Playing & XJW Discussion Boards.
by hillary_step ini have been on this board for around four years.
at first i took what went on here quite seriously, well for about three weeks, but it then became quite obvious to me that the depth of role-playing that went on on these boards was so deep-rooted that it would be a foolish waste of time to do anything more than to read some of the more informative threads and delegate the rest to entertainment.
i hope narkissos forgives me for quoting something that he wrote yesterday, but his thought clearly encapuslates the reason why it is foolish to presume that you know, or will ever know the person who is posting by what they write, and why judgments on a persons character are more than often fatally flawed.

I have met a couple of people from DBs, and if they are representative of how close virual people are to their real counterparts, I'd say there isn't much of a gap. As for myself, I would hope to think I am the same person in both, because that represents honesty to me. If I were completely different here, then that would mean in RL I'm not the person I envision myself to be, or want to be for that matter.
But I could understand if a person had insecurities about themselves how they might take on a different personality here to escape from RL a little more, but hey, if that's their bag, baby...

Joanna and Eyegirl are the greatest people ever! EVER!
by Cygnus ini just got home from a 5 day stint with joanna, eyegirl, and no apologies as well as joanna's manwhore and it was by far the best vacation i ever had and i had the most fun humanly imaginable.
joanna is the best host ever and eyegirl is great to swap silly stories with, among other things.
;) a public thank you for having me and this is not an invitation for anyone else to swamp them with invitation requests because they do lead busy lives and they are mine mine, you hear me, mine all mine!
