  i had a hard day today installing hot and cold water and drainage to an old railway carriage for a woman named sue.

  Nothing I say or do would stop her doing anything - quite the opposite.

  I doubt that's the real truth of things for her Uncle Bruce...your giving her your time & patience must be of great comfort & sollace to her. Human contact alone without words is a beautiful & healing things. You're a good man uncle, & that's why we luv ya guts. frog x

  I'm so o o o o Tired!

  for a couple years i've been blaming it on lack of sleep, not enough sunshine, too much pressure from my job, earwax buildup, poor blood or anything else i could think of.. .

  but now i found out the real reason i'm tired because i'm overworked.. .

  the population of this country is 295 million.. 162 million are retired.. .

  Ever have a part on a convention or assembly?

  i played a role in a convention drama when i was 14. it was a really poxy modern day drama.

  something about catching my bigger brother puffing on a cigarette lol.

  i had to practice the part for months in a dogey american accents.

  Our convention drama tapes must've all been sent direct from Brooklyn. So we had to lipsync to American accents, and it kind of just stuck for when you were rehearsing without the tapes...

  I have this really crazy idea, please help ( nope not fluff)

  for a really long time i have believed that there is no such thing as god.

  last night i had a talk with someone and this one idea came to me, what if there is a god, but he is not perfect, and where did this idea of god=perfect come from?

  is there any scipture that says god is perfect?

  I always think the notion of perfection itself is a strange one. Something can be perfect in one sense but not in another. For instance is the perfect hammer any good for sawing wood? If we talk about living in a perfect world, if you never get ill or run down or depressed, will you ever fully appreciate just how good you feel the rest of the time? You could describe our makeup (DNA) as imperfect because we are prone to illnesses but, has it been the perfect building block for a creature that can adapt to new illnesses? I would predict that if there is a perfect god of the omnipotent type I would say he is probably the source of all good and evil making him not perfect in every sense from our point of view, but maybe on a grander scheme of things.

  hats off on that one Ballistic! I agree also with AA that the chances of humans being the only intelligent life in the universe is very slim. I believe it's our idea and concept of God & Creator that is wrong. If there is other intelligent life out there it's unlikely to be in the same form as us let alone to think as we do since we are largely a product of our environment. I also believe that our anthropocentric thinking is what really fails us, that we are separate from our environment, and at the centre as the ultimate purpose of the universe. I concur that we are very much perfect by means of our imperfections.
