  PROOF THIS JW Religion COULD BE THE TRUE RELIGION

  well in the bible it says said by jesus christ himself... that "the true religion will be the relgion everyone despises and hates.".

  is this not the relgion of jehovahs witnesses?..

  look in the bible itself it says in john 15:18-19. jesus says, "if the world hates you, you know it has hated me before it has hated you.

  I think dear sweet thing that you are going to have a long road ahead of you in figuring out for yourself and through your OWN sense of reason that which you discern to be truth. Perhaps one day you will realise that it is an impossibility to expect all of humanity to conform to one prescriptive set of standards when it comes to their belief systems in order to nuture the wide ranging needs for spirituality. I don't honestly believe that jws are universally hates, people that know of jws tend to find them and oddity that's for sure, but i don't honestly believe most jws are hated. I realise this flies in the face of what most jws want though, they want to put themselves out there as being so very different, just to prove a point to themselves, I find it hardly "christian" to attempt to raise oneself so far above another in terms of your apparent standing before god and creator? so much for being salt-of-the-earth type people...JWs are not a persecuted people except when they are given commands from the top to go to an unnecessary emph degree to prove themselve as being "separate from the world". JW's aren't separate from the world, and they never will be, they are no better in most instances than their neighbours, and if you feel the need to be seen as different from your neighbours near and far then surely you would have to ask yourself why it is that you seek out particular favour among a minority group whose only reassurance in their chosen path comes from eachother.   it's a bloody tough road aint it nng :( thankyou for sharing your personal story with us though, i hope that it helped to talk about those very painful things. the lack of true humanity and love in the org was very much the tipping point for me, or as you rather put it, the straw that broke the sheeps back (lol). for a people who so proudly define themselves as being the ones that show loves amongst themselves these sort of treatments can not go unnoticed by those with true hearts and sensitivities. there will though always be those kinds of people in all places, but it is when you feel as though you have been decieved by them to believe the organisation of which you are a part can deliver more to you than it realistically can, when it convinces to put all your trusts, hopes and desires into it, but cannot in the end deliver, that it naturally forces a person with a self-analysing nature to call into question their allegiances. at the end of the day i see the jw-org now as a large mob of individual people who so easily have put all their eggs in one very rigid and deceptive basket. if you feel the fear, then question it, if you don't feel true love and support, then question it, if you have lost your family for this lifes cause, then question it.

  i wish you all the best our friend in your search for the answers you need, just make sure you ask yourself the right questions, no matter how hard and painful they might be. it should not hurt you to test your faith and allegiances, if they are worthy then you will be able to discern for yourself what you know to be right. not religion, organisation or people are without fault, but there are some whose harm and deception by far outway the good which they see themselves to be accomplishing.

  Why does the unneeded loss of a child or other loved one cause such deep jealousy to cult member? Because they know that the scriptures don’t say to do that. And that the true paradise on earth is loving your family and not to those who remain loyal to the org.

  never were truer words spoken WA! :))...

  this article is of course just another classic example of a typical tripe WT spin! how bizarre it is that a few scaley old men can be so consistantly determined to dictate such painful instruction to people who are entrust themselves to their care?? How parents and "loving" family members can actually swallow this shite time after time is beyond me?? It never jelled with me whilst growing up, and only gets more and more bizarro the further I put myself from it. x

  Invite to DC under my door

  i was away at the weekend & upon arriving home i find an invite to the dc under my door!

  in the 12months i've lived at this address i've never been so fortunate as to be blessed with a visit from the jehooba knockers...must've been jehooba's spirit directing them to my door when i was away, cos if i'd have been in, they no doubt would have eperienced the wrath of frog!.

  anyways...i've never seen these invites before??

  anyways...I've never seen these invites before?? I thought at first that it was a "kindgdumb proclaimers" leaflet thingy, but it was specifically an invite to the DC...I would rather shoot myself in the foot, then perform the cancan, over attending the local lamearse DC listening to the bullshite tripe they serve up there

  Big announcement after all DC have ended?

  i was told by a reliable source that the organization will be making a "big announcement" at the end of the summer when all the dcs have ended.

  has anyone else heard this?

  maybe this is the "new light" they have alluded to in recent wt study articles?

  young JW guy suicides Victoria Australia

  hi guys, i was coming back from a weekend in melbourne this afternoon & i ran into a friend from uni who was on the same flight.

  we were getting on to a flight & a friend of my friends was coming off a flight.

  she began to tell us that she had flown in for the funeral of her young nephew.

  Hi guys, I was coming back from a weekend in Melbourne this afternoon & I ran into a friend from uni who was on the same flight. We were getting on to a flight & a friend of my friends was coming off a flight. She began to tell us that she had flown in for the funeral of her young nephew. We got to talking about it for a while and how terrible sad the whole situation was. The aunty then began to tell us that she's one of 10 children and that they're a close family, all bar this one brother of hers, who is the father of this young guy of 24 who had committed suicide at the weekend. She then began to tell us that the reason for this, the fact that they're not close with this brother, is because they're a family of JW's and have been for over 20years!! This of course completely rocked my socks off, and I must've gone white as a ghost with that bit of information. From that point I could only say that, from that it all made sense. And we spoke about it for a little longer, but the aunty seemed to be a little vague on the details surrounding this poor guys situation, which is of course how it usually is with JW families.

  Anyway, it really floored me, and brings back home all the similar tragic stories that I've heard in my time relating to young JW people. I can only just imagine what sort of personal hell that this guy must've been going through. It just leaves you with a terrible sense of sadness really, at how isolated this young guy must've been through his troubles :(

  I don't suppose any Aussies here might've known or known of this guy then? May he rest in peace x

  ok, maybe the word "saved" is inappropriate.... in my case, i would have to count three.

  two of my best friends from when i was growing up who initially resisted my questions and apostate leanings but are now free of the borg and have confided it was our conversations that led to their de-programming.

  and, my sister, through pretty much the same circumstances.

  I've got a few works in progress, but am making some headway ...i suppose it's hard to really know for sure, but no doubt every word of real "truth" we speak about the WT org then this can only be a further deterant for "newly interested ones" (barf). x

  Shocking Announcement: Society feels Armaggedon coming this year?

  a rumor alert indeed, but it could be related to the distribution of kingdom news no.37, "false religions end is near.".

  however we have found out that there is going to be an announcement sometime in september and it is supposed to be shocking.
