Aye! The gen of 1914 is just like any other gen throughout history. I believe this is a worse false proph than 1975. This was stated with more certainty and for a longer time than 1975 was.
And just ask a witness whose come in since 1995 about the gen of 1914. They never heard of it, eyes glaze over.
Ask someone who left before 1995. If they havent kept up the the chariot, they still think the 1914 gen is what dubs believe. Its astounding really.

According to the WTS, Jesus wasn?t using the term 'generation' in the sense that we normally would. It was not referring to the specific year(s) of anyone?s birth or genealogical ascendancy. It was merely a generic (nonspecific) term used to describe (quote) contemporary masses with their "blind guides" who together made up the Jewish nation. In other words Jesus was saying according to the WTS: "See all of these evil wicked people? (Regardless of the year of their birth) They are going to experience a great trib."
Therefore, say the trib started tomorrow. A worldly baby born today would be part of 'this generation'. So would the parents. So would the worldly grandparents if they were alive when the trib starts. So would the worldly ggrandparents if they were alive when the trib starts. (see the greatly overlapping lifespans?)
On the other hand, a witness would not be considered part of 'this generation' because it only applies to wicked people living when the great trib starts, regardless of when they were born.
I know, its stupid, but it makes better sense than the ridiculous "generation that saw 1914" thingy.

i would think with all that the governing body is faced with that they must feel some form of isolation even at bethel.
they must worry all the time that soon thier little world will come crashing down especially with the brutal exposer the internet is providing.

Gone completly is the idea of the 1914 generation and the timing of the end.
The word generation acording to the WTS is just a generic term used to discribe all of the wicked people who will be destroyed when the end comes

Whoa! That was an interesting read.
Something else about the great crowd doctrine is.
1. The bible indicates an indefinate article "a" for discribing it. While in the publications the society gives it a definate article "the" causing the term 'great crowd' to sound almost like a proper name, rather than a simple description.
2. 'a great crowd' is mentioned again at rev 19:1 and they are placed squarely in heavan. The RiGCaH book spends practically a whole chapter on the term 'a great crowd' at rev 7, but not a mention of 'a great crowd' at rev 19.
In my eyes chpt 7 and 19 are discribing the same crowd.
