  john 10:16 is one of those overused scriptures that seem to prove the dual destiny doctrine.

  (john 10:16) 16 ?and i have other sheep, which are not of this fold; those also i must bring, and they will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock, one shepherd.

  i've decided to da myself formally by writing a letter to my old cong.

  i feel i need to leave my old life behind and forge a new one, which i don't feel i've been able to do since i left 3 years ago.

  there has always been a hope in my family and jw's i was friends with that i would go back at some point.

  after nearly 2 years away from meetings it seems that the local jws have decided that i need 'spiritual help' and my house has become a jw magnet, all offering to be the ones to give me that help.. while they left me alone i was happy to leave them to their beliefs, but now i feel its time to make my feelings known.. i thought i'd start with the un scandal, but as many here have found they will almost certainly use the library card excuse.

  i remember being told from the platform that we should never become involved with a political org' even if it was just for non-political reasons eg using facilities, clubs and bars.. while i clearly remember hearing this it would be useful to have something in black and white to support it.

  But keeping quiet might be a good plan, too. You may the cause de jour, but their interest in you will fade and you'll be back to just another inactive JW in a short while.

  Or disfellowshipped for apostacy. If that dont matter to you then speak up, plant seeds.

  with my jw girlfriend still in the hospital, a lot of the jws from her congregation visit.

  If I knew the answer to that min, I?d be in high cotton. I wish I personally exactly knew who knows. The problem is if they?re still in you have no way of knowing unless you brings some topic up and get a smile from them. But then you cant do that because you might talk to the wrong person and get labeled apostate. Shoot I may go to a CA or SAD or JWendofworld Con and be bumping in to fellow ?postates all over the place and not know it!

  Maybe all closet apostates should start wearing a secret sign that only other closet apostates would recognize. Purple tri? upp no I guess not that.
