Speaking of guys like him tho. Look at say JW Ben. That guy is an apostate and just doesnt know it yet. I think if we were more like "ya ok man thats cool" when they try to be apologist, that would give them room to open up.

I do wish we'd be a little nicer. I think most apologist posters here are confused and are in a good position to step over to the dark side if we will just bear with them?
yesterday at 5:00 am i awoke to a rooster crowing.
he crowed for 10 minutes and then kept quiet for 10 minutes.
just enough to allow me to fall back to sleep before starting up again.
I guess you sometimes have to take matters into your own hands, especially when local authorities are too stupid to make proper ordinances.

i have read so many posts and topics about how people are treated after leaving the org.
so i would like to share with you my take on this.. i cannot help but notice that most people seem to feel that they are looked down upon by the jw's.
whether it be from shunning: a mean look,comments, avoiding someone etc... i can honestly say that i have never felt this way, and i have run into several jw's since i left.
No one can demean you or make you feel insignificant with out your permission. Do not allow them to demean you and you will not be demeaned.
Sorry if this is an over simplification, I've never been in the situation, so I may not completley get it.

COs and DOs I thinks have the most to lose if they rock the boat. Imagine being a 50, 60, 70 y/o man with nothing. No job, no retirement, no skills. You got squat. I think some of them know, but all the ones I've ever met are staunch company men, and all they got is the company. So they stick with the company. Come heller high water.
