  the daughter was baptised after the disfellowship.

  does this mean the daughter is not to have a relationship with the mother.

  It's so silly... the organization looks better on people who are lazy (inactive) than those who are sincerely looking for the truth and trying to do what's right and end up choosing another path.

  Do the same rules apply to dissassociation as disfellowshipping?
  
  Because they are two differentthings. One is EXPULSION from the congregation, which seems to be what most of these articles reference, the other is leaving of your own accord and choosing.

  That quote wasn't just about 1975. My parents were saying that in the 80's, and 90's. They were still saying it when I was working 2 jobs, pioneering, and attending College starting in 1997. They ESPECIALLY said it when I missed a talk on the ministry school because I had my final exams last night. Man, I ended up in a lot of elder's meetings over that.
  
  Them saying that is the main reason I only have a crappy Associates Degree instead of accepting one of the scholarships or student loans I was offered to attend a real school.

  i've never been a huge disney fan, but she's a huge fan.

  i've just recently accidently stumbled onto some information that i've never previously been exposed to, and i'm finding it strikingly similar to the jw religion.
