  well i am no longer one of jehovah's witnesses.

  i had fully intentioned to disassociate myself from the platform today, but i decided that if i wanted a chance to save my marriage that i'd better tell my wife.

  she immediately went to to one of the elders.

  Wow,

  You've shown strength and courage in your decision. I'm sure your head's in a strange place right now. It's a shame that your wife had to seek out the elders, but that's a knee jerk reaction of a Jdub. She's probably scared and confused. This is also a life changing moment for her. Give it time, empathy and patience and love will conquer all.
  I know you had planned a dossier on your reasons to leave, which you wanted to present the elders/Congo with, and it looks like you didn't get that chance. No big deal, they wouldn't of read it anyway, or listened. Maybe, the dossier was only for you.

  For me was boredom, getting to the pub on time for last orders, and taking girls out somewhere far more pleasant.

  No, I have assumptions, I'm not here to judge, but I would like to know from you what you mean by your statement. From the horses mouth, so to speak. There are many people here who maybe going through a similar situation, and I think it would be good to clarify what you mean by your own personnal definition of ' outside of Jehovah's arrangement'.

  hello all, i've been reading your site for a couple of years now, and have found, for the most part, it to be very helpful.

  i must say, at first i was very "scared" at what i might find, but contrary to what i grew up learning, there is a "wealth" of information outside of the watchtower organization.

  i haven't attended meetings for about two years now, and like many i've read about, have spent many hours researching, telling myself "i'm not wrong for searching", and doing more research.

  thanks for putting me onto the works of Immanuel Velikovsky. Truly entertaining. This guys a genius who should be up there amougst others such as; Erich Von Daniken, Hubbard, and David Ieke.
