WHAT was the nicest compliment anybody ever paid you? What did they say?
by Terry inwhen i was about 16 i had a terrible crush on an older lady (she might have been 30) who was the lovliest person ever.
she had poise, confidence, intelligence, wit, appreciation and culture.
i was just a skinny, shy, geeky kid that she took under her wing.

My ex husband had my 3 year old son for the weekend and was takin him to one of his friends. My ex's friends mentioned how clever,bright and well mannered my son was and it was a credit to me. I had another good compliment the other night but its a little rude :P es

Who left the JW's after getting on the internet?

how many here still believed the "witnesses" to have the truth until they came to sites like this?
how many actually came here to defend the jw's and ended up leaving?

Personality Wise----Are You THAT Much Different Since Leaving The "Truth"?
by minimus ini believe that most people are what they are----whether they were jws or are exes.
for example, if you were a basically happy go lucky person in the hall, you probably have that same nature now.
conversely, if you were accused of always complaining and being miserable then, you probably still bitch and moan now.

I def have changed. I was a happy go lucky girl before all the crap started in the truth. And even tho im much happier now im not that girl anymoe, ive been bitter and angry and upset but lately i feel like a huge weight off my shoulders has been lifted es

Long hair...no meetinings...privleges
by tsunami_rid3r inalright, so im not going to the meetings anymore after sunday.
and the elder told my dad that ill have to be pulled from microphone, and all other privleges, maybe the school, if i dont cut my hair.
it isnt even that long, its medium length hair.

Did you know of any JWs fighting in the Kingdom Hall or arguing in the KH?
by booker-t inthis might sound funny but i have heard many stories of jw's fighting in the kh bathroom or arguing.
i remember an elder's wife who was having alot of medical problems cursed out another sister in the bathroom.
she called her everything but the kitchen sink i was told by another sister that was in the bathroom when this altercation took place.
