What's up.... am I not worthy?
by upside/down ini've lived in my new house for a year and a half... in a nice newer neighborhood, in town.. the dubs have never been to my house and i've never seen them in the neighborhood.
i'm home almost all day every day!.
i've had the mormons here 3 times.

I'm lucky (oh no, did I say that?) I live in a high rise security condo and no one is allowed in with out a pass code or let in by a tendant. No visits now or every. Hate it when that happens.

Investigated the Dawn Bible Society (Russellites)
by orangefatcat insince investigating the history of the society i thought i would do research on the dawn bible society to others known as the russellites.
today in the mail i recieved a booklet and it is all about pastor russell his life and what happened after he died and the split from the watchtowe society.
some great reading and a real eye opener to the truth of the breakoff .

Isn't it interesting that for most of us sitting for many years in mindnumb JW meetings never questioning anything and blindly accepting anything thrown at us. It is only after leaving you found your ability to think and research for yourself. Not only JW history and teachings but that of others.

What is Jacko's status as a JW????
by mrd83 ini know he was raised as a witness and he wrote the apology letter(which was published in the watchtower) as well as giving the wts a boatload of money($$$millions$$$) over the fallout of his thriller album.
recently he proclaimed his faith in jehovah as if he is still a jw and his father who kicked the crap out of his kids(requisite to raising a fine jw family) as well as his mother are attending court.
what is this guys status??

TV Guide had a exclusive interview with Jackson in the November 10-16 2001 TV Guide. On page 20 he was asked:
TVG: Are you still a Jehovah's Witness?
MJ: Yeah. I've done, you know, we call it pioneering. We do 90 hours a month. I don't do as much now because I'm busy. You go door to door. I wear a fat suit, pop-bottle glasses, mustache, buck teeth and, like, an Afro wig. And I knock on the door and say we're Jehovah's Witnesses.

Can a JW still get bound volumes?
by Dino ini know this question exposes my current ignorance of the organisation, but are pubs still allowed to purchase hardbound wt and awake bvs?.
i have always enjoyed a tactile piece of printed material in my hands as opposed to an impersonal cd.. thanks,.

You can order a cd called "Berean Bible Studies" thru their web site. It contains virtually all of Russells writings. I also ordered the 6 volume Studies in the Scriptures for about $22 thru them.
