I remember in the early 80's there was a letter read in the congo asking brothers with computer skills to volunteer to go to bethel and help the society set up it's computer network. After the meeting a brother came up to me and said, "Well, I guess they need brothers with educations now don't they".

My advice is, then, give your children an education up to the public school limit, not even attempting to take them through high school, for they get plenty of Higher Criticism in the high schools, and it will not be long before they have it in the common schools also.

Blondie, is this true or just a joke? If true how do you know?
Actually, it's quite true. They announced early in the year the Awake would go to once a month. They used a lame excuse that they want to concentrate on more spiritual material. As usual they are adverse to truth and the fact is they know what everyone else knows that it just ends up in landfill anyway.

She just couldn't throw them away. The "brothers" tried to offer them to JWs for their libraries but no takers. It was a lovely bonfire.
It's funny how they can't bear to part with these gems of truth. Until, of course, new light makes them obsolete, then they can't burn them fast enough.

To expedite the final delivery of WT literature the Watchtower has adopted a new distribution system. As the rolls of paper and ink etc arrive at the printing facilities they go directly to the printing presses where 10's of thousands of books, magazines, tracts etc are printed every hour. They are then packaged and sent to the shipping docks where they are loaded onto semi trucks. The trucks then depart only to arrive at the local land fill and dump them directly into the landfill drastically cutting down the time it takes to reach it's final destination.
