  weekends!.

  this weekend is memorial day here in the usa where the country pauses to remember and honor all the brave men and women who have paid the ulitmate price in order for us to live in "freedom".

  flying spaghetti monster bless the usa.. i only have to work until noon today and of course monday is a paid holiday!

  Great idea for a billboard

  the kingdumb hall here in my area is right on a huge street with lots of traffic.

  there is an empty lot to one side with a billboard that can be seen from the street.

  if you are driving one way the bullboard is actually seen right in front of the kh....i wonder what it would take to advertise on the one side...its could say something like "are you the victim, or do you know victums of sexual child abuse?

  I feel your pain divel driver. Anytime i mention to my mom that I've read something concerning jW's...she always asks me why i'm reading apostate literature and then she doesn't talk to me for a while. (sigh)....thanks for the great sugestions. i'll post the pic tomorrow

  i want to get a picture of the billboard tomorrow and maybe those who are better with photo shop then I am can help make this fun for everyone. i'm actually curious how much it costs to use one of those billboards. Thia one is small and is only about 5 feet off the ground or so. Like I said when you see the board you see the kH. I was thinking something a little more subtle but that would get peoples attention....

  Horrible life those ones that your mom thought of are are great...I hope she rests and feels well enough to join us here again soon.

"You can find help to cope through Silent lambs"

  I can just picture this right there in plain view next to the kingdom hall where everyone can see.......if you could put something on the billboard what would you have it say?

  my 3 nieces live in Placer County..thats just so scary knowing that there are pedophiles so close to them.. I can't imagine what any of these children have had to go through. my heart goes out to them.

  My BF how is my ex husbands sisterand she is still JW..........now more then before and we are still BF. I have noticed that this last year she seems more in then ever before...but she doesn't treat me any different. Her cong is very laid back and she was always encouraged a ways back when she had a smoking problem and other stuff.....so she has lots of friends there that are supportive of her being an unwed single mom. I guess if I was in her situation I would probably stay in just for all the help she gets. She knows my background and what i've been through and doesn't judge me for my desicion. Her sister on the other hand is out...never baptized...but we don't have the same conection....still have some great conversations though.

  intimadated no...nauseous yes....My grandma died recently and I had to be at the KH for her service....most the talk was about the new system not her and they mentioned surviving family members and my sis-n-law was mentions but not my husband.....what gives. Anyway I felt very uncofortable around my family but had no problems talking to anyone else. At my friends wedding...no problems....course it wasn't at the KH
