  the watchtower scoffs at "apostates" because they want their "so-called freedom".

  not practicing this religion does give you a lot of freedom and normalcy.

  The freedom of not having the weight on my shoulders and being able to actually truely be happy........not made to think i'm happy.

  Spiderman 3 (Spoilers, do not read unless you want the movie ruined)

  i went and saw spiderman 3 this last weekend and wondered what others thought of it.

  i liked it, but felt there was a lot less storyline covered, which seems to be the problem with all of marvels third installments (x3).

  i wished it could have had more time with venom, and not the quick battle at the end, that ended all to quick.

  My son thought it was "awesome"....but then again he is 9. This was the first movie i took him to on opening day and he was all "why is there a line"??? It was a fun mom son thing...As for me, I thought it was okay. Personally I think it could have been better....like you said where it lead up to the battle......could have been more charactor info.

  real shock i know that a jw would do that.

  i found out today that my mom took my son to the kh behind my back when she was in town visiting.

  he's just a little baby so he will have no memories of it.

  my ex-n-laws have taken my oldest to the meetings with them on occasion (when he stays with them) and if you ask my son now if he wants to go to a meeting he'll tell you "heck no" "its boring and you have to sit still to long" If they aren't exposed to it all the time and you explain the best you can how you feel about God. They will pretty much look at it as a "boring meeting" and they will get all the right info from you.

  Who does the prodigal son scripture apply to?

  okay i already asked a question earlier on being disassosiated now i'm wondering who this scripture applys to if not those in my place or disfellowshiped ones.

  surly it doesn't apply only to those who are inactive since the son left to do his own thing.....

  If you are dissasosiated............

  do the elders have to reinstate you if you start going back to meetings.

  i was told a while back that you would be treated as a person on reproff with all restrictions but now i'm hearing that if i go back i will have to wait to be reinstated.....this is such bullsh**.

  i really don't want to go back...but my grandmother just passed away last week and i went to the service(it was at the kh) and was able to see my family that for 4 years now has bearly talked to me...and i go to see my 2 beautiful nieces...whom i would love to have a relationship with.....so i started thinking maybe i could go to a few meetings to be able to have something to do with them.....well i went today....i was so upset earlier that i went and smoked a bit to calm me down...heeeeeeee .....so anyway....i was soo irritated and bored all the f-ing answers that some of them come up with....i guess i just keep thinking about the other side...they really do think that those of us on the outside are miserable......i was more miserable today then i have been in years just sitting there trying to pretend.

  Yes I wrote a letter...a few years back disassoisiating myself.....wether they annouced it....i don't know...I wasn't there. I don't want to go back...it makes me sick to my stomache.....i just want to be able to talk to my nieces....i guess i'll have to see what i have to go through....yuk

  Then what about the whole prodigal son scripture.......He left on his own and came back on his own and was welcomed......does this scripture not apply. Does anyone out there have any other good advice.....this really sucks and I don't know how long i can do this. They want to met with me and gave me the option of meeting here(my house) or there. they didn't say anything to me about not talking to anyone at the hall and I actually had an elder itroduce me to a few sisters......I guess I'm confused....blahhhhh

  See I was thinking from all the flashback to the hospital scene that maybe she wasn't under water as long as it seems she was. I think they just wanted to postpone her rescue till farther along to make it more suspenseful. so all the hospital scenes were going on while Meridith fell over the edge and the little girl walked away.......Yeah it still would mean that from the time she fell in and the time she was rescued would have to be at least a few minutes.........Or it could be like my husband was joking....in real life she pissed off one of the producers and their canning her

  Overall I'm hoping for a recovery...i'm thinking they are over exagerating the next show or theres the possibility that we don't know if she live...isn't the next one the season finally????
