for a few years i earned a living making jewelry and traveling to art shows to sell it, i even had one of those liitle carts in the mall when i was 17...ran it by myself.

i stopped making stuff for a while but i have recently restarted my business and it is taking off!

Does the WTBTS still control your life?

do you follow the arrangement dictated by the governing body of jw's regarding df'd and da'd individuals?

do you shun the jw's like you are expected to by wt leaders or do you speak to jw's and greet them with a smile even if they shun you when you do so?

in complying with wtbts rules of acceptable behavior for da'd or df'd persons do you think that you are showing unconditional love to your neighbor?

I wouldn't say they control my life... but I must admit that I often think "this is good" or "this is not good" before acting...

not really much point to this except i want to vent some anger but yesterday my little brother came round to my house for lunch, he is studying and living at the house of my jw sister, i myself have never been baptized so am not disfellowshipped but they all (with the exception of my little brother) treat me as though i where.. anyway, my little brother came round for lunch and the next thing my jw mum phones my house, asks to speak to my brother and gives him a telling off for being at my house because i'm bad association, and tells him that he has to spend more time with the members of the congregation.. he tries to explain to her that the members of the congregation don't want to know him, that he is sick of making an effort to be friendly with them when they just ignore him.. anyway, it finished with her telling him he is to go straight back to my sisters house and not see me again.. he is 24 years of age, surely its up to him if he wants to come to my house!.

sorry, i know there is no point to this, but i just wanted to let off some steam!

(((Ellie))) I feel just the same way at the moment... I've never been baptized either. My best friend is JW, and recently, she had warnings because she went on meeting me. This hurt me a lot, and just like you, I feel angry... it's so unfair!!!! I hope she'll be able one day to see that the only thing I want is her happiness, and not her misfortune... and i hope your brother will be able of this too...

Do any small creatures frighten & freak you out?

here's the dirty dozen: .

1) ants- imagine being buried in a sandpile up to your neck with sand.

along come a bunch of ants from an ant colony, and they crawl all over your head, in and out of your nose, your mouth, your ears, your eyes, and all thru your hair.

all small creatures with a lot of feet and which run fast... this really scares me!!!!
