  What tv can jws watch over xmas?

  Damn, I have 10 bottles of Michelob Lager in my fridge, Does Fed-Ex deliver on Christmas? How long would it take for a bottle or two to get to Texas from Cheeshead country?

  -30 Wind Chill and the meeting WAS NOT Cancelled...What Idiots

  it's -5 with a minus 30-35 wind chill factor here so you would think the "loving elders" would cancel the sunday borefest.....nope.

  just got a call...."well of course it was your choice, but there were 70 in attendance this morning!!!".

  there have been meetings cancelled because of heavy snow, but give me a break going out could be dangerous.

  You live in Wisconsin and moan about a little wind chill? Hell... you nut cases fill up Packer town on colder days and half those nitwits wear nothing but Green and Yellow body paint to games.

  Those are CheeseHeads watching the Packers.....the Kingdom Hall only has AirHeads. Plus those at the game do the wave......at the Hall they do the BobbleHead Nod.

So the question is...Have you ever had to listen to anyone that patted themselves on the back for making it to Hall despite of horrible weather conditions? Did they also shake their head asking way EVERYONE wasn't there?

  i need to let you know that dad passed away this morning at 8am.

  he fought so hard but in the end they could not get his blood pressure to rise and he died of heart failure.

  The snowstorm is here...

  staying put for the night.... i was going to leave in the morning to drive to virginia to see my son, dil, and grandbaby.

  but it's pretty much snowing pretty hard...all the way from here to there... so i'm going to wait until next weekend to go.... here's a view from my back door.... brrrrrrr.... has the storm changed your plans?.

  just to let everyone on here who knows my dad, that he is seriously ill, and unfortunately on life support.

  he has renal and respiratory failure as a result of the quickest onset of pneumonia i have ever seen... it came on in the early hours of this morning.

  he is waiting for an intensive care bed but the nearest one is 200 miles away.

  Everyone was excited about the "new look" of the KM. Heard an old timer exclaim, "See how the FDS is keeping up with the changing times!!!" Also found Page 3 interesting...Do You Know Your Options? It deals with bloodless surgery. Encourages watching the video No Blood- Medicine Meets the Challenge..but adds the disclaimer-"Note: Because the video includes brief surgical scenes, parents should use discretion in viewing the video with young children."

  So there is concern for children because of the adult nature of "brief surgical scenes" and yet parents are to teach these same kids that they are serving Jehovah faithfully by not taking a blood transfusion and possiblly saving their lives.
