i have soaked the tubs in bleach water and although it helped some, there still is some staining that i can't quite scrub out, and the same on my linoleum floor.
if anyone has any advice on things besides bleach i can try... i'd be grateful.

There are some good sterilising solutions that are use in home brewing that work well on stubborn stains. Also you might try a overnight soak in sodium crystals.

A cultures language and philosophy develop side by side. Many Muslims learn Arabic to gain a better understand of the Koran for example. As English is a mix of Germanic languages developed for trade I think it's most likely the worst language to use as it's words and meanings are forever changing.

JWD "clusters" - name one ;-)
by Pole inthis is fluff stuff.
you must have noticed posters on many threads tend to come in clusters.
whenever one of the members of the "cluster" starts a thread, another few are very likely to post on his/her thread.

Being a new boy one of the clusters I've noticed is....
The Huggs squad. Always there with a sweet cup of tea and hanky rolled up there sleeve.

Has anyone got anything positive from being a JW?
by diamondblue1974 in.
i hear and read alot about peoples experiences and some are pretty horrendous....does anyone actually feel they have benefited from being a jw at least in one way or another...me personally i feel i benefited from the ministry school as public speaking is part of my job and has definately improved career prospects?.

Though an atheist/agnostic I believe that the basic Christian teachings as I understand them are a sound philosophy. The courage to talk to people about my ideas/beliefs knowing that anything I say can't be as stupid as what I had to try and sell door to door.

Sometimes ya just need a giggle
by beebee intoo many trolls here lately, y'all need a giggle.
i got an email today with a bunch of funny bumper stickers but this one seemed so appropriate for this board.
seemed like it could apply to door knocking and trolling apostate websites.. okay, i thought i could post the image but i can't because i can't remember my password for ftp to my website (don't ask...lol) and i guess only pictures that can be plugged in have to be links to pics (makes sense now that i know it has to be on some web server).

OH NO....!! I gotta have an operation....
by ScoobySnax inwell, its like this, for the past 3 years i've had this lump on my index finger of my right hand, hasn't really bothered me, but in the last month it really swelled up and became painful.
i reckon its a ganglion although the doctors are not sure, had it x'ray and the doctor at work says he doesn't think its anything "sinister" ....lol comforting!!.
anyway he says that because of the proximity of it, and it being close to the digital nerve, the surgery might be tricky, i need to be refered to east grinstead hospital, which is a few miles from here, and is a plastic surgery specialist centre in the uk.

WHY are you here ? (on the board)
by frenchbabyface in.
.
ok ... to me it's not totally related to jw life actually, i'm here because i'm used now to chat with people (you know like you go into a cafe and share wathever you want with whoever as this board is very rich and full for immediat interaction), support them, get some support ... i just like that ... also of course it's very interesting at the same time to follow some news and get information that i might spit back to my familly in time to wake them up .... what about you ?

Ditto to 74's comment. Brought up in a society that I couldn't live in and taught from birth that anything outside that society was evil leaves a narrow band of people that understand without explanation. I have laughed so much in the last 4 days reading some of the posts, got angry and got sad too.

Don?t take things at face value. If it seems to good to be true then it probably is.
And please, please, please if you have kids look very closely into what is said here and elsewhere.
