The fact that he's been able to use his money and fame to get away with having questionable relationships with children for so long holds little hope for any real justice. I don't know how social services work in the U.S but there's go to be something wrong, very wrong, for this man to be allowed unsupervised access to young children with no alarm bells ringing.

i've tried them before but their always flat / limp / crap!.

Looks like I'm late on this one, your puddings look lovely. The dip in the middle is the clincher. The perfect gravy well. Well anyway here are my belated Yorkshire pudding tips.
Separate the egg whites and whisk them separately till light and fluffy, do not whisk until stiff. Mix the rest of the ingredients and then fold the egg white in slowly.
Use only animal fat and as said preheat the pan and fat.
Refrigerate the mixture before poring.
Just before poring add some larger to the mixture and beat in. (I've tried this but it doesn't seem to do much except waste good beer)
Put a table spoon of boiling water in the centre of the pudding just before cooking.
Buy frozen puddings, heat and pass them off as your own.

Ditto to all thoughts who still find it hard to make relationships. 20 years out and still finding it hard, my biggest problem isn't ?making friends? as such but generally deeling with people and not seeing them as evil and untrustworthy. JustTickledPink is right though it's not a reserve of exJWs just a natural reaction that's been played upon and enhanced. If you want an cure so you never have the problem again pass it on will you. Till then what takes more courage, knocking on a strangers door to promote a magazine publishing company or opening up yourself a bit to forge a relationship? See not all conditionings detrimental.

I base my own reasoning on these points.

Take the joining of political organisations. If the org decided that in the light of growing globalisation, membership of the UN as a platform to further its message was the right path to take then in all honesty I would put that down to a progressive change. If on the other hand they had already proclaimed the UN as the scarlet beast proclaimed in Revelations, then the justification of only being a bit in stinks of a cover up to me.
I realise that this is not old news or strictly a change in doctrine but I apply the same principles.

When I went to my sister wedding a few years ago it wasn?t held in her local KH but in one near by that apparently the surrounding congs had paid for. It was well plush and looked like no expense had been spared. After the ceremony was over and every one was milling around Elder Smarmy came up and did the usual chit chat, I mentioned how nice the KH was and a bit cheekily mentioned that it was nice how they built a KH just for marriages, ?oh no? he replied ?it?s a proper kingdom hall and wasn?t built for weddings, it?s just the only hall available today?. I would of pushed the matter but we were ushered out to the rose covered gazebo for the photographs.

1) i'm tired of food that is made up of small particulates (i.e.
In my veggie days I use to love a burger mix that I believe was a recipe by Gorge Bernard Shaw. It may well not of been as I?ve never been able to find it. It was the only thing that made me feel full. Also plenty of fruit and nuts. Pasta with a simple Neapolitan sauce or a cheese sauce was a stable. I never went for TVP except for sos mix, it was basically vegetable suet and bacon bits and could be made into balls for a spaghetti sauce, put in a pie or rolled out and fried. Two things that I found most important with my diet was variety and a pudding or cheese, fruit and nuts about an hour after dinner.
As for the B12 thing I too had a vitamin supplement but I also eat plenty Marmite (veggimite for you aussies, I don?t think there?s a US alternative), It has a range of B vitamins but I?m not sure if it has B12.
