The skirt.. what can I say. Women come and women go. Never get to bummed about one, there is always another around the corner. And once one doesn't like you anymore, there isn't a damn thing you can do to change it. You already lost the girl, don't lose your dignity also. I have always found when a women stops/doesn't express interest, the most interesting thing you can do is act like you could care less. Have you ever taken economics? Think supply and demand. If that is to over your head, think scarcity. Everyone wants what they think is scarce. A woman can't resist the take away.

And cheer up for criminy christmas! If nothing else you are well fed, have a roof over your head, and you will soon have your freedom. That is more than most who now or ever have lived. You were born an American! Count your blessings!

If I remember correctly your father is not a dub, but your family has cash. Is it really necessary to follow the dub rules if your folks are to pay for college?

If I remember your mom runs the show.

I know you didn't get a navy scholarship but have you thought of enlisting?

You will not do better right out of high school. I would probably recommend the Navy or Air Force. Their bases are so sweet. And if you get the right job in the Navy you could do some really good traveling. You don't make much, but you don't pay rent and you don't pay for food. It will keep you out of trouble while you do some growing up, and it will let you live life not on your folks terms but more on yours. (Actually uncle sams terms, but he isn't as bad as you might think)

I think it may be one of your better options. At least look into it.

And dude, you need to take a break from this board. You are going to find some good advice here, but you are also going to hear from some very bitter people! They can really get you worked up, believe me! Read some of my mid-May threads and you will see what a basket case I was.

You have almost posted as much as me in the last few weeks as I have since I have been here. And I was trying to keep my wife from getting baptized!!!

(Keep in mind I made all the mistakes you have made already)

Get away from here for a week. Keep in touch with her, but talk about something besides jw, and friggin relax. You don't have children with this woman. She can't let your kids die cuz they need blood. There are some people here with very serious problems.

You better chill out though. She already shouldn't be talking to you since you are a bad association. If you are an opposer forget it! Your only opportunity to talk to her is as a student of her religion.

So how long are you going to keep this up? Does her mother care? Are you supposed to care more for her than her family?

Please go back and reread every warning I gave you last week, because it seems you didn't listen to any of them.

You are just some guy, you are not her husband. If you piss her off, she will not talk to you.

There are no knock-out punches!

You tried to go for one. It didn't work. Never has, never will. It is a slow process, and the dub leaves when they are ready. You can't save her. You can only show her the door. It is up to her to take the blue pill.

Never criticize the org to a dub.

If you want to criticize the org, criticize an org like it, and leave it to them to make the parallel.

Now go back and do what I told you to do earlier. Did you talk to her mother? Did she freak out and unload on her daughter?

And in the course of the conversation she won't mention how the other elder candidate, brother Alphabet (who is married to that sister Alphabet who sister Schmuck-a-telli doesn't like because she always raises her hand when she raises her hand) just isn't running very hard with that microphone lately?

i have a mom who would rather me not go to college, keep me locked up in the house, and just serve jehovah.

i have a weak dad, instead of her being subjected to him, he's subjected to her.

he's on my side on most of the part but he's just weak on setting her straight.

Son, I highly recommend the service. You will get out of your parents house, it will make a man out of you, it will keep you out of trouble while you do some growing up, and if you play your cards right you can find a job that will be able to use when you get out.

Go talk to a recruiter. Let me know if you have any questions. Be careful though. They are selling something so don't sign anything without talking to me or another vet.
