Signs From God?

not sure about the rest of you that are mentally out, but every now and again i still have those moments where i think "ok god, if this is in fact the true religion and the organization is right and i'm on the wrong path, send me a big, glaringly obvious sign that i can't ignore.. .

anyways, this past sunday my husband and i just did not feel like going to the meeting.

we weren't in the mood to sit through it.

My JW Brother-in-Law's Crisis of Conscience

me and my brother in law share a computer at home.

we have different accounts and for the life of me, i still don't know his password.. but it hasn't stopped me from putting "apostate" literature on his desktop screen.

i am an amateur it geek who knows the ins and outs of computers, so i don't look twice at things like passwords.. anyway, a few months ago, i slipped three files onto his desktop.

That was clever. I would've started the computer in safe mode and logged in as administrator and you can have easier access that way.

I'll give Steve2 some more unethical things he can whine about. How about leaving your Wireless connection with no password protection and see if your neighbors are dumb enough to connect to it thinking they're getting free internet. Leaving their network wide open. Some even have several computers where they share files. And is not hard to send them a trojan to open a few other ports.

Hopefully your brother in law wakes up from the cult.

What Does the Term "Higher Consciousness" make you project or think it is?

this has been on my mind for some time,,reading coward's book on jungs and eastern thought were he talks about jung's model of enlightenment and the kundalini rising up the chakras.. but after reading this book and several others i come to think that it is a sort of waking up and uniting with the self that is at the very center of our existence and in fact the core of everything, the center which is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere, to borrow a phrase from the mystics about the sacred geometry of a sphere.. i think of it as a painful and rewarding process,,at least that's the way i see it now.

hey what is the purpose in life anyway?

i think jung says to reach a measure of wholeness, or making as much of the unconscious conscious,(a dangerous process which is sorta like out in a boat fishing in a big sea, fishes(unconsciousness) being brought in the boat(consciousness) can become too big or too many and the boat sinks(schizophrenia).. .

What you're talking about is all happening inside your brain. The brain coming to an understanding of itself. I think that will be last thing we ever figure out, or don't know if it's even possible. Why? Because the experiment would get in the way of the experiment.

Our brains are can be easily fooled. Just take optical illusions for example. And that is an external example, now imagine what goes inside your head.

Another suggestion,

If it's a desktop and it's a couple of years old you might want to open it up and see if it's dirty. Dust it off.

Sometimes the CPU fan gets too dirty and doesn't cool the processor properly, causing it to run a bit hot.

Does anybody still believe in God and the Bible?

i just want to know out of interest how many here still believe in god and christ and that the bible is god's word.

my faith in the wts is gone but i still love god and his son.

i've noticed that many here have lost their faith in god as well as the wts.
