while i was an active jw elder, i wouldn't have up until that last year.

that's when i was totally mentally out, just going thru the technicalities.

i still respect other jw's viewpoints on their not accepting blood----although i think they are terribly misguided.

where do the watchtower writers get their information?

are they free to research anything they like?.

several years ago there was an article that said we must be specific in our prayers.

They, the writers (or rather copiers and pasters) can't refer to delusions because it would show they live in a Fantasy Land (no disrespect to Disney Land intended) and have no basis forreferral due to be of a fantasy nature.

according to the feb 2009 kingdumb misery, this is the title of the new hounder-hounder talks for public talks starting march 1. now, i can only imagine worldly fantasies include having a family, a reasonable measure of health and security, and being able to live a decent life.

kingdumb reality means throwing your life away out in field circus, attending boasting sessions, dutifully studying washtowel publications every tuesday all evening, and dying stagnant and having produced zero value in your own life.

Heathen, you mentioned a the eye of a sewing needle, it wasn't a sewing needle Jesus was referring to. It was a small gate beside the bigger ones, that once ngiht fall came the bigger gates were closed and if one wanted to enter or leave the city it was only through those very small side gates. So for a camel to pass through it would have to be unloaded of all its baggage and commodities and squeeze very hard while trying to walk scoot along on its knees to get through, It was referring to rich men having to divest themselves of their reliance on riches to get them through the gate to Serve God or be a follower of Jesus. Not a sewing needle.

This nonsense about rejecting worldly fantasies but accepting watch tower fantasies is more nonsense from these ner do well thinking people.

where will we be able to find blonde's material to prepare for the non study of the wt conducted the local dub group?

i have always liked them and have used them many times to answer/ refute questions at the wtstudy.

i just saw joel osteen on larry king on cnn.

i don't know a lot about joel osteen.

i've never read his books or watched him on tv but i was struck with how positive he is and how upbeat and encouraging his message is.

Several years back and some who lived in the area should be able to confirm this, but two doctors told me that Joel Osteen had his arena (church or whatever) available for those imposed upon (nice way of saying it) by the Hurricane which kind of screwed up the area a bit. This was circa 2004/2005. They although not religious but atheist had nothing but praise for Him and his Church which helped out at their own cost. Unlike the Society that will help out their brothers but at the cost of others not themselves.

-30 Wind Chill and the meeting WAS NOT Cancelled...What Idiots

it's -5 with a minus 30-35 wind chill factor here so you would think the "loving elders" would cancel the sunday borefest.....nope.

just got a call...."well of course it was your choice, but there were 70 in attendance this morning!!!".

there have been meetings cancelled because of heavy snow, but give me a break going out could be dangerous.
