I have a suspicion this is all circumstantial. She may very well have been visited by Mormon missionaries, and then a JW left a magazine at the door before some neighboorhood kids came up to the deck and messed the place up. That magazine could have been there for hours, or even the day before.
JWs do plenty enough damage even without vandalizing I think.
i hated going out in service on christmas and new year's day.

Having to miss out on anything fun about school... clubs, sports, band (although my brother was allowed to do this, it was forbidden when I went through ).
I was also terrified of knocking on a school friends door while out in service. When it did happen I wanted to sink through the porch.
here's my self-centered little update post.
after seeing all the hardships so many here are enduring, it helps put my little "problems" into perspective.
but i'm posting this lil' update anyway, not because i want the attention or want people to feel sorry for me, but because i feel a strong connection to this board and the people here and every so often want to let y'all know what is up with me, and indirectly, what is up with mike/openfireglass, as he is not (at the moment) interested in spending any time online.

It's like they say, when it rains it pours... but it sounds like you guys have what it takes to make it through the rough patches. And without the rough patches, how can you truly appreciate the good times?

i've met some wonderful friends here at this forum, but it's time for me to put the jw religion to rest.
it will be 15 years this october that i daed myself which in retrospect i wish i wouldn't have done as there are some former sisters who i would love to give a big hug and talk with who are in pain mentally, but i can't.
i agreed to their "rules" when i was baptized.

My favorite smells are the Sweet Pea and Plumeria.... they tend to run out of those quick on the sales though.

That ad was getting a little annoying. Only because it seemed to be the ONLY one popping up for me for quite awhile there. It seems to be gone now though?

What if I had a young child asleep, or reading online during the night? Too loud and it seemed like a good idea.
I actually keep my speakers turned off for this reason. I'm always clicking on links with audio so keeping them turned off helps me not get the crap scared out of me when people start talking from my computer.

It's interesting to take a look at the charities he's supporting. While I applaud support of any good charity and celebrities "giving back", I have to wonder about Prince donating to anything "wordly"... especially a scholarship fund???
