hello all - new here
by GoingGoingGone inhello everyone, this is my first post.... i'm in the process of fading after being a jw my entire life (almost).
i don't go to meetings anymore..... hubby's an elder, and boy, is he mad.
he still makes the kids go with him to meetings, service, etc... they hate it and i feel sorry for them, but there's not much i can do about it.. i've been feeling lonely today, i do miss my friends sometimes, and i have really good friends, but since i don't go to meetings i never see them much anymore.

Isn't that like a man-----------never follows the directions----------hey guys it saves alot of time if you would just read the directions and also us wives would not have to nag at you to do so..............ps---I'm a fixer---more than my hubby..........

Obedience.....(YYYYYEEeeeeeecccchhhhhhhhhh)
by 95stormfront inok.....i downloaded the two parts of the obey symps and the return to the shepherd of your souls demo.. i made it through listening to the return to shepherds demo.
though it was full of the usual guilt inducing fare, it was short and barely tolerable though i found myself rolling my eyes all the way through.
but upon starting to listen to part one of the obeys, i got that familiar feeling......the mind wandering on other "more important" things, the hypnotic droning on of the speaker lulling me to sleep, the realization that i just can't stomach listening to that crap.. i couldn't make it more than a couple of minutes through the talk till i had to turn it off.

You had to of been there 95 to enjoy the real effects of the mind numbing torture.............in fact one of the last speakers on Sunday said "WAKE UP, I KNOW YOUR SLEEPING OUT THERE!" and yes he was right, very few thought he was funny, but at least he spoke truth for that moment in time....

An Elder (very young) commented on a WT Study concerning Armageddon---"Worldly people are just to DUMB AND STUPID to understand what is going to happen!" Imagine if you were new to the hall, hearing this judgemental uneducated man who drives a bread truck for a living insulting comment...........NO BRAINS, BIG BALLS, BIGGER MOUTH.

the topic has been how to show love to the jw's when they come to your door.
in the past, many of the people i talk with have been rude to the jw's.

Most Elders can not explain the 1914 teachings.......just ask one, see them stumble over their words trying to look oh so smart...............very few know what they are teaching.............they need the book in front of them, word for word from the reasoning book...........
