The one thing I appreciate having back-----IS MY TIME------to do as I choose. But I must admitt it is a bit strange to think about what you would like to do. I know I'll get use to it. I love Saturday mornings we use to have to be up and out by 8:15 to meet with the group at 9am, no rest on the weekends for our family....................so I do enjoy my weekend

Going into debt too pay for a wedding
by unbeliever ini know someone who is getting married and i am amazed how much money she spent.
she is a student and works part-time and if she's lucky makes $650 a month.
her fiance has a full time job but it goes for bills.

We gave our daughter a buget to follow------we paid for food-flowers and limo, she covered everything else.......................we put in $10,000 and she put in $5,000 so we thought for 180 guest at a beautiful country club on a gourges fall day it was perfect amount to spend...................she also bought her home before they got married which was a smart decission.............all and all we gave her a buget to work withand we didn't go broke.

hey Willy nice to know we aren't the only ones at #8 it is pretty chilly here in the witness world when you are treated like nobodies.....................and you no so many people once you made it to the top.........................after my hubby stepped down the CO came the next month......mind you he had been with our cong. for 5 times already and always dealt with my hubby as the PO......we always gave him a little fun money and spend plenty of time with them in service------------------------WELL WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENNED AT THE SEVICE GROUP? When my hubby raised his hand for our group----he said in front of the whole cong.--------majority go out on Saturday-------------------------Yes brother--I forget your name-------------everyone in the hall looked dumfounded-----------but as always with his chin up he told him his name........................MY HUSBAND WALKED OUT THAT DAY AND SAID THIS IS THE LAST TIME I"M GOING OUT IN SERVICE.....................................What a snotty thing to do to such a hard working elder that gave his heart and soul for the love of the cong....................he never went out again...................thats the good part.......

SHUNNING AT A TIME OF BEREAVEMENT..i told them what i think
by chuckyy ini posted yesterday or day before regarding my anger at my wife being shunned the day after her father died.. in fact it was a very deliberate shun by 3 women who went out of their way to brush right past my wife.. i saw 2 of them today and went up to them in the school playyard and said very loudly for all the parents to hear:.
"i would like to thank you both for your condolensces and for walking right past my wife when her father had just died.. true christianity??
?.....isn't it lovely!!!!!!.

They are only following Jesus example of love and kindness ----NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone imagine Jesus acting that way toward someone who is crushed in spirit at this sad time in ones life?????Chuck we are so happy you spoke on your wifes behave they need to be the ones to feel embrassed and ashamed.........................This very situation was the start of our eyes beginning to be open at their very pompis behavior----and to think we were apart of it........................We had a sweet girl who used to pioneer in our hall----------------you know the story----------she left and got Dfd--------------everyone loved her before defing-----------but now she is of the world------------she marries,and has a very beautiful baby, who was sick and diedNow you must know she had relatives that where in our hall that would be at the wake-----------so my elder husband (PO) and myself felt it was important to go to support family and besides her husband was not a witness..........................WELL you would of thought we were commiting the sin of the century-----------mind you this is Sat. morning---we must of gotten 10 calls about our decission----------------one elder actually said to my husband------------"you are walking a very thin line if you go" hubby response to that jack-ass was" if Jesus was here he would go and give comfort and then ressurrect that little baby"---------------------I'M GOING NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!! I was so proud of him for that...................we knew in our hearts that was the Right thing to do..........................we were warmly recieved and low and behold there came the other elders to bring comfort........................so my husband stood up for what was right and proper and the other nit-wits followed-------------but what a fight to show love.................the beginning of the end for us.

Frank you are right on with that.....I've heard it said you can go through life haveing friends but----you can count on one hand your true friends..................this is a true statement because it is your true friends from your past that last.............I recently found this to be so true with some friends who I knew 20 years ago called and misses our good times and laughs so we are heading out Sat for drinks and apps and talk over the good (old) days though I'm not that old......................

' this means i do things differently than the ordinary person as i'm into many activities.

I love music,dancing into the night, a good "blue sapphire martini W/twist---------I have the lover of my life by my side if perfect was a man He is here with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
