by purplesofa ini just checked twitter and the story is picking up tremendously there.. many people only get their news from twitter now.. i encourage you to use twitter, you can do this anonymously.. rt (return the stories) get familiar with twitter if you are not already.. it's a wonderful format for spreading the news.. many activist will see this and spread the story that have many followers.... the time to do this is now, before the story gets too old.

Right, DT, I think it would be very hard for this to trend. I did notice today the story has died down on Twitter...
The life of a story is very shortlived in Twitter land....but with a possible news coverage coming up
and these few days of exposure, twitter will take on a life of it's own re: the story.
I read your DM, was responding when power got cut off, will reply shortly.
oh, my other twitter name is @purpsart which I will probably use more to spread the news on this.
I have friends that would be more than happy to spread some tweets ..mostly in helping more victims to come forward if we can decide
on that.

From my experiance, it takes allot of tweets to make something trend in a certain period of time ...I have worked on many hashtags to get trended re: Libya, Syria etc.
This is with people trending from all over the world. Syria tweeters work to trend every Sat am with prior notice of what hashtag to use.
I am going through a move and not sure I could coordinate such a big undertaking....My suggestion is to get as many using twitter as possible.
This is a wonderful opportunity to get active....it is amazing what being able to use Twitter has been able to make happen.
If there were any way to work on trending when Anderson Cooper interviews Rick Simons that would be majorly awesome. AND AND
Allot of work and committment

Very few people will get past the headlines of this, and even less will go deeper than reading the article.
For those close to witnesses, we need to get them to question the elders in their congregation just what
the policy is. Hopefully they will have as in-depth meetings with the congregations as they do on how to deal with the blood issue,
which is still very confusing to many witnesses.
I can tell from Twitter that comments about witnesses aren't just about how annoying they are to knock on your door on
Saturday mornings, or that they don't celebrate holidays or salute the flag.
This is scandalous for them. While their ways are quirky but mostly accepted,
worldy people have gotten to the place where they feel they need to protect children from religion.

Child Molesters is one area they could easily cast them off and be heros for doing so.
So, I just don't get it.
Fornicators are thrown out right and left and the World could give a rats ass about the morality of it.
Actually, most people think it's nuts that it's done.
So, all their flap about keeping the congregation clean is crazy too.
To hide it looks like you condone it.
I just think they think the way they are doing things is working.
I read that the man who molested Candice is still part of a congregation.
I hope he is worth the millions it's costing the org to have kept him.

I think your right Watson. I need to see the letter to the Elders that has been referred to re: the policy.
I don't think for a minute JW's condone child molestation. I really don't know how they let themselves into this mess.
The offenses they handle in judicial committees, I imagine most are not criminal. The laws in the US are doing so much more
to protect the children. We are learning these people usually cannot be rehabilitated.
Praying, going to meetings, reading WT and Awakes will not rehabilitate a child molester.
Maybe in the "new system" things will be different. But we are still in this one.
You can bet the Elders that know of child molesters will safeguard their own children from them.
