  At a certain stage it is a personal decision for readers to walk out of the "prophetic setting," for instance by realising that history is never a script written anywhere before the event. But this also is a reinterpretation -- another text that we have to read and/or write for ourselves.

  Ok this makes sense.........so I guess I don't have to be worried about Armegeddon?

  The Bible is a very interesting example as it is made of many strata of writing, each writer struggling with earlier texts, reading them in a new perspective and modifying them into his own text. When we see it from this perspective it loses its aspect of a self-contained script calling for a slavish play-out (either as a good or bad character): we are not (only) playing out, we are writing it further and writing ourselves into it (even here on an internet db); thereby changing it.

  I think what I am thinking is how the bible prophecy must be played out......It seems like mankind is destined to play this all out, no matter how many people are trying to buy out of the script, and live script free so to speak.

  Do you think there is anything to keep The things still said to happen in the future that is in the bible................anything to keep these things from happening?

  OK...............here is the latest on our much loved Ozzie.

  i have had trouble getting onto mrs ozzie since the operation but this morning i rang the hospital and was put through to mr ozzie himself!.

  we spoke for quite a while and he sounded fantastic!!!!!!!.

  i passed on the love of the board and told him he has so many people who love him.

  we went to my husband's grandfather's funeral yesterday.

  i'd already posted a few times on this subject, so not to bore anyone i'll quickly remind you of the story.
