I just was invited to a convention june 20-23, I think they think I'm gonna "dunk my doodle" there and be baptized. "My future depends on it" I am told. I think my ex wants me to go...I think he wants me to convert.
Problem is I can't really say I'm happier without him in my life, I miss him terribly. I'm getting confused again...I wish he'd stop confusing me, damn men.

i have a interesting story, and i can't believe other jw's cannot open their eyes to the destruction that this organization can perform on a family.
i was raised as jehovah witness, all of my younger pictures would show white knuckled clutching a pink book called paradise lost, paradise regained.
i couldn't read yet, but the beautiful illustrated and colourful pictures drew me to it being my favorite book.
It's the most depressing way of life I have every been subject to. I felt like I had nothing in the world to live for except for the end of the world. I can't imagine being brought up as a child like that.
Today another bunch of pioneers came to my door, they know who I am and where I live, they're just checking up on me, I have never had so many witnesses come to my house before I "attempted" to convert...which drove me crazy, totally mental...and now they come couple times a week. I know they are spying on me, wondering what I'm doing, if I'm still seeing my ex, following me around town, hounding me at my job, at the supermarket, calling me up on the phone. I really don't know what is going on, but this is harrassment, it's like there's no excape. If I had to spend the rest of my life in that hell I would definitely put a gun to my head, I am very sorry to say this, but JW did not have a very positive effect on me, it totally messed up my entire outlook on life, and I am struggling to heal. My ex's wicked witch of a sister in law, called me up the other day, she knows how I feel, she said, "the truth hurts, doesn't it?" If hell is on earth, it's portal is at the kingdom hall.
this is the strangest thing that i have ever seen, and i have to ask cuz it's just sooooooo wacky, i'm just wondering what the hell it means: the jw guy that i have been seeing, well, he sometimes would wear two pairs of underwear?????
is this usual to witnesses, or is he just trying to protect his goodies?
or is he just a freak?????

Who the hell knows why the stupid ass wears two pairs of undies, maybe he doesn't even realize, or maybe he's trying to make it look like he has more down there then he actually does? Does he stuff socks in his shorts too????????????
i'm curious to know whether the jws believe as the mormons do that only a certain number of people get to go to heaven or find salvation.

This is a question for the governing house at bethel to answer, since they communicate with Jehovah himself to write his words in the watchtower and awake mag's, and for this new light syndrome.
i went to the kh yesterday afternoon.
i met a friend there that i haven't seen in a while.
she and her husband used to be regulars there until her husband died, then she moved back to california to live with her daughter.

Good luck witnesses to a witness, they come very prepared. Two young men came to my door the other day, I started laughing hysterically like a complete moron. They knew who I was since I had too frequently went to the meetings with my boyfriend and his family. I think they were spies sent by the elders to see what I was up to.,
I bet if I let them in they would've bugged my house to monitor my non-witness status. And I may be just a little crazy, but I swear today a brother,(and friend of my {ex}boyfriends family) followed me all around town. Because I revolted totally conversion does this mean that I am now on the witnesses top 10 wanted list?

curiosly,i find that i no longer fear death.not that i want to die-i don't.but i wonder if this how i should feel.. i don't like pain,but i have a fairly high threshold of pain,i think.i'm sure there is much greater pain than what i have experienced,but though i avoid it when at all possible(including spankings...sorry chat babes),i'm not afraid that i can't deal with it if i have to.. likewise death,i just have no great fear of it anymore.i don't think that it's due to my beliefs about what will happen after i die...i don't have any.sure,i was raised a j.w.,instilled from birth with the idea that if i didn't survive armageddon,that i'd be resurrected thereafter.but i don't buy that anymore...neccesarily.nor do i believe in the heaven or hell concept...neccesarily.i do believe that if i'm the best kind of person i can be,then it will have to be good enough for whatever,if anything,lies beyond the life i'm living now.. in talking to others,though,i find very few(if any)people who don't have a pretty high degree of fear about death.it has me wondering,and i'd appreciate your comments.. cowboy.

I don't fear my own death or any pain of dying. What I fear is the death of people whom I love and don't want to lose.
Although, after studying with witnesses, I now find myself totally freaked out about no life after death, in terms of my soul. All that common grave crap.

You really need to get rid of this dude, haven't you been wasting enough of your life with him? It's a new year, go out meet some different people, stay away from anything JW, just please forget this stupid ass once and for all.
But I do think I saw something about this in "The Secret of Family happiness" book, "protecting your family from destructive influences" chapter Here is an excerpt: ...You are about to send your little boy to school, and it's pouuring rain. How do you handle the situation? Do you send him skipping out the door without any rain gear, or do you pile on so many layers of protective clothing that he can hardly move? is it proper for a witnesses to call a nonwitness at 11:00 at night while she is taking a bubble bath?.

A 19 yr old JW girl was having an affair with this fat disgusting 48 yr old man, they would neck in the back room, feel each other up in the breakroom, go out to lunch. They were very obvious in their tryst. And she seemed happier with the flirting attentions of this filthy sow, than before it began. But unfortunately, he got transfered out,(gee, do you wonder why?).
Oh, hey, I also know about a lesbian sister having a little fling with a worldly girl. Her girlfiend got all crazy when the sister started to make the moves on a boy and ignored her. It was amusing to watch...

I really hate the expression--"be in the truth". What is true? What is false? Anyone who has only known the JW way of life is limiting their choices in really knowing the truth...When I was studying, I often asked the wicked sister in law, why I couldn't use my own bible, why I had to only study from a certain one, and why they'd play leap frog through verses.
Erich--please don't pressure anyone to remain a witness, I think lv4fer should do really take a long hard look, what I found out is JWish is all about control and guilt trips, and that is not living.
Maybe then more witnesses would see that this all mighty truth is just a lie. Hey, the truth shall set you free, and freedom is not being a witnesses.
