  i have only just registered at this forum and i would like to know if there are any ex jw's that live in or close to canberra, australia.. i have been shunned by all family and friends because i left the organisation (not disfellowshipped at this stage but won't be long) and i finding it hard to cope with.

  i am sorry to be down but i miss all my family and friends and would love to make new friends that know what i am going through.

  my boyfriend is very understanding but gets frustrated as he doesn't know why my family are doing this to me.. this sounds like a whingy post but i promise you, i am not normally like this.

  i am a catholic and am curious to know what jehovah's witnesses really believe.

  i have heard many things but would rather recieve things right from the source.

  i would like to know what differences you have with catholicism based on what you know or have heard.

  not only does the word crossroad contain the word `cross', which is connected with paganism, but the ancient pagans revered crossroads in a supersitious way!.

  so I guess that she is so deep in the mind control, that even a true love can not bring her out.

  That is absolutely correct.

  Kinda get's me depressed thinking about it, cuz I think about a certain witness who I spent over a yr and a half with. I really did love him, but I had to let him go.

  Okay, now somebody is gonna have to draw me a map, as to HOW to take this? I don't understand, what do I do pick #'s randomly? 38-24-36? How's that?
