  The Death ethics of JW's

  a piece i wrote for the paper which never got in.. the death ethics i had as a jehovahs witness, and an apology.. it was just recently i realized that i had never grieved a very close childhood friend.

  we spent many an hour playing together when i was young.

  i grew to love this boy as my friend, just a few years younger then myself.

  The WT elders and GB are humans playing God, making up and changing the rules as they go. It's horrible. Disfellowship is not a biblical term, but a term coined by men making up their own religion. I am so sorry for your delayed grief, 26 yrs is a long time to hold something inside, but at least now you can make peace with it, by grieving the loss instead of what the WT doctrines, about the disfellowed.
