  Can a person have his baptism nuliified if he was too young when baptised?

  i know this was discussed not that long ago on here but can a person have his baptism nullified if he was too young when baptized?

  the reason i ask is that i have a friend that said he was baptized at 14. i was mentioning that i read somewhere on this and told him i would get back to him.

  if so, how does one proceed with doing this and is there a sample letter he could use?

  What would be the point? Either one wants to be a witness or not. Have you heard of those religious ceremonies where couples call on God to bless their divorce? Or like those who say "we got divorced but now we are the best of friends".

  Is all of this stuff wanting to look good in the eyes of others? A common human failing, who of us can say we never succumbed to it?

  Oh heck, here we go again - better to be straightforward.

  If we colonise Mars will that negate Paradise Earth?

  the wt of 15th april 2005, page 5 para 1 says 'hence, the knowledge of jehovah and jesus christ as found in the bible is sufficient to show you how to gain everlasting life.

  the bible is a unique book.

  Good Question. Before anybody leaves the Truth, they first leave off reading the Bible. The publications are not a talisman and neither is the Bible. But it is God's word and when it is not longer imprinted on our heart the subject of Publications becomes an irrelevancy. 'Man shall not live on bread alone"

  when is the right time to send letters to the editor, or contact the newspaper about the cruelty and vindictiveness from the local boe?

  there are hundreds, if not thousands of stories on this board that are so clearly not just a case of congregational discipline.

  The idea of perfection and living forever

  this past year i turned 30, my father in law is visiting and he's turning 62 tomorrow so i'm baking him a cake.

  i have been thinking about aging and how it seems very normal to me.

  if adam and eve sinned and no longer were going to live forever, how come there aren't plants and animals that were also living forever.

  my brother called me today.he is 20 ,3 years younger than me,and out of the religion.he still has fear though that it could be true,but thats another story.. he told me he heard my mother and father talking upstairs.my mother said about the org "ive put 26 years into it,i think i'm done with it,i might just go sunday from now on".this is huge ,because she was a devoted nutjob witness.she made my life horrible for the 1st 17 years of my life.i had been trying to suddly tell her the truth about the troof,but i didn't expect this.i'm happy and yet i want to know where she stands with the borganization.. this along with what seems to be an outpouring of similar stories,i have a gut feeling the jehovahs witness mind control cult is on the brink of implosion.everyone is so burdened by it.the jig is up,gb,good riddance when you fold.the rank and file have had enough.my 2 younger sisters are on the edge of mental freedom.i hope they can fully get free of it.. this is a milestone in my families long and strange trip in mental enslavement!!!!!!!!!!!!

  with the streamlining of printing plants and installation of new labour saving presses, in us. japan, brazil, britain and mexico, literature production is projected for an increase. 262,000 plus baptised last year. Going down? It wouldn't seem so.

  just once.. i was on the way home from the 1958 assembly at yankee stadium.

  we were aboard the "arosa sun" and sailing from new york to plymouth, england.

  the ship was pretty well 50 - 50 split between british and german.. when we arrived at plymouth, the british contingent disembarked whilst the germans stayed on board to continue on to bremerhaven.

  Its tough when those who cry become the butt of jokes of those who can't empathise. Sometimes there are things deep down there which can't get out. Gratuitous cruelty demonstrates it .
