2. Jehovah's Witness (88%)Well, I just made myself sick when I read the results, which are: 1. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (100%) Thought I had shed all of the JWism, but, Mormons are probably worse.

Siddhashunyata,
All the posts here are good, but yours is exceptional. You described exactly how I felt and what I went through emotionally. Occasionally, I still get a longing to go back to the Kingdom Hall, but I don't because I know how it will end. I tried reinstatement so many times and failed because "the congregations look good only from a distance".
Thank you.

IYes, I did believe completely. I was converted from a Catholic to Jehovah's Witnesses at 17 years of age. I questioned many of the Catholic teachings and reading the bible was anathema to Catholics. I were told "only the Pope could interpret it." (Plus, the Catholics have their own bible - The Catholic Douay Version is one of them). I had never laid eyes on any bible in my life. So, when I met the Witnesses, they were only too willing to interpret the bible (of couse I did overlook the fact that they had their own bible). But, because they carried their bible with them, and could read it, along with the fact they could demonstrate how hell was really sheol I was very impressed. Then, when I found out there would be a paradise earth--that made a believer out of me.

You can spend 6 hours at any point in history, where and when would you go?
by nicolaou inyou are only an invisible observer.
you cannot interact with people or the surroundings at all and will remain unaffected by the experience.
history will not notice you.. so, do you choose to be present 3 hours before and after the big bang!?

I would go back to the day I met Jehovah's Witnesses and not let them in my door. Nevermind. Just realized I would be interacting so I guess I would like to go to the antedeluvian era to observe what the evil angels looked like when they produced the nephilim. (if there ever was such an occurrence.)
