I cant scan it im at work. But it is in July/August issue
ive been here for sometime now.
long enough to know that some peoples hatred toward th wtbts and some of its members are based on wrong information.
for instance: ive read on hear many times that the wt promotes the idea that everyone whos not a witness are not friend material or will be destroyed at armageddon.

Well Last night I was reading the Latest Issues an article about How to find good associates. In that article it plainly said that, " Quote on Quote" worldly people, those who do not share our beliefs are not neccessarily bad association! It went on to say that we need to becareful of ones INSIDE the Congregation. What are ya'lls thoughts on that?
now for all the scientists out there this is not a question of proof or anything along those lines.
for my part i choose to believe in a god because i honestly believe there is one (though i did start doubting for a little while) i've always felt that there was more to our existance on earth - and that doesn't stem from me wanting to live forever or as a spirit, as i don't even know if that will happen.
i also believe in him because many many times when i could not carry on, on my own strength, i managed to pulled through.
I agree with Mary. The bible says every house is constructed by someone, But He that created all things is GOD.
conversation between my little 10 years old brother and my dub-dad before he departs for the meeting:.
little bro: daddy...why do you have to go to kingdom hall?.
dub-dad: well, because jehovah wants us too.
sorry about that. But my ? was lilycurly do you dislike your dad for being a JW? It sounds like that to me.

i was eating a sinful double order of biscuits/gravy when this sister i knew came up to my table.
as is usual with witness mentality, not a single word about the family or any other matter, just launched into "hubby and i were out by your house in service, stopped by but no one was home" then she tactlessly mentioned that she had not seen us around the hall for a while.
i told her we were not attending meetings any longer.
lilycurly i agree when out at a resturant we shouldnt draw unnecessary attention to ourselves. Jehovah hears our silent prayers.
those who are believers and worry about meeting gods standard for moral, ethics and general behavior seem to have very little to worry about.
at least if we are to take the bible serious.
most christians seems to be very selective in such matters.

If you read my post youll see i said i do know why God destroyed nations and i agree with it. I said there are SOME things I dont but do not ? it. Big difference from what you said.

Im the same way i cant even get my self to step on an ant outside. Seeing that you have been a witness your whole life and heard every explaination possible I could not offer you anything new. I totally agree with why Jehovah God has at times wiped out entire nations. I am not one to arrogantly ask why? Although I do admit that there are alot, well, somethings that Jehovah has done that I dont understand why. However i dont question it. Call me brainwashed if you want but my attitude is this. Jehovah knows what hes doing and i firmly believe that perfect is Gods activity and that all his ways are just. Upright and just is he a God with whom there is no injustice. Could that be what faith is?
