  ive been married for 24 years, i went back in the org 4 years after i was married, it has put so much strain on us over the years, its undescribeable.

  my husband came in the org, about 6 years after me.

  I suggest that they won't be studying it again. Instead they will publish another book on the matter soon enough thus ensuring more money can be poured into the organisation.

  Don't forget to always examine the money making angle....

  Rectum circles who park in handicap parking

  i just went to the store a few hours ago, some store but does have 4 places for handicap people to park in, well of course when i get there four assholes young people were parked in all four places, and when i had to walk by the them gave them a good piece of my mind.

  and they of course got mad (4 guys waiting on their bitches i guess) and told me to "f" myself, when another older man hollered at them they of course told him the same thing, and then a store employee was out there gathering carts and he told them to leave the handicap parking they told him the same thing.

  well upon exiting the store there was a local policeman who had driven up (that upholds my belief in god) and was giving all four of the assholes a ticket for parkintg in handicap parking, i made sure i told him about how they acted and what they told me.

  Good work from everyone who confronts people taking valuable disabled parking spots from others.

  Its pure laziness on the part of people who use them Unnecessarily .

  At a local shopping centre here though we have disabled parking, senior citizen parking, mothers with babies parking and 1 hour parking. By the time they have all these specially designated parking spaces you hardly have any regular parking spots left!

  Embarrassing things that happened to you on the platform?

  i remember one of my last talks, it was a bible reading, i was 15, and on crutches.

  i tripped getting up on the platform and took the mic stand with me.

  that was embarrassing.

  A friend of mine was in her teens with another friend giving one of the sister talks. Halfway through they both got a fit of the giggles and couldn't stop laughing. This went on with attempts to continue the talk. Then her dad the PO came up to her and told her to quit it and threatened her with punishment after the meeting. The laughing ceased and they both went bright red and the talk was completed...

  it's so pointless when someone like me raises certain opinion's that cant be breached here on the message boards.

  What is ur Point...

  I could be mistaken but I am picking up on a lot of negativity combined with anger. I think you will find that we have all been there through those feelings. Especially if you have left the JW organisation fairly recently.

  I couldn't see any of your posts that had been deleted. If you click on your name and then click post history you can see what you have written.

  Stick around, people here have assorted beliefs and they are happy to discuss things with you. Personally I still have a belief in God I just don't know exactly what the truth about him is...

  i made a comment to my 15 year old son last night about the arrogance of the jw teaching that all non-jws will be destroyed at armageddon.

  he responded that i am mistaken, that the jws teach that jehovah reads hearts, even of those who are being preached to today.

  in other words, no one is 'written off' like that, and btw he hates it when i take a teaching i don't like and exaggerate it like that..... .

  I think it's a lie they tell themselves so that they can think that maybe Jerhover will spare that nice guy Bill from work even though he's not a Witness or something similar.

  I think you'll find that these days people are going to come down pretty hard on any group claiming that they are the only ones to be saved through Armageddon. I think JW's want to believe this type of lie because it makes them feel so much better and it is more socially acceptable...

  a book excerpt published on the website of national public radio ought to give pause to those who think the wt society carefully checks its facts.. the soviet spy agency kgb was publishing a disinformation campaign against the usa in the mid-1980's.

  insert any racist thought or saying you have ever heard after "worldly people are...".. i say this because earlier this morning i was thinking about things i have heard from my parents, extended family, and so-called friends about how evil or nasty worldy people are and if you think about it you can insert "worldly people" into any racist phrase and it would sound like something a jw would say.. i called that religious bigotry.. josie
