Sweetheart... Its okay to greive and to feel hurt. You just have to release those feelings. Let go of them all so you can move on. Once they've gone you can start to find out what you like, who you are and really learn to love yourself. Keeping those feelings inside of you is not going to help you, in fact they will hurt you even more.

Hello and welcome! I really hope you stay around, there are some amazing friendships you can develop here and they will help you through the tough times.
I hope you don't mind my presumptionness but it sounds to me like you are still going through the greiving process. Of losing a belief system that you held for all your life, for losing your friends and your family members. Anger is a natural progression of greiving. And trust me when I say that we've all been through it and its perfectly normal. In my situation I found it so much easier to deal with when I came to this realisation. It just helped me see that I was normal, my feelings were justified and know what to expect.
Anyway stick around pet, looking forward to hearing more from you.

My JW roommate and the false religion tract
by oppgirl63 inmy roommate who is disabled was in the hospital for a couple of days last week (nothing too serious).
one of the 'sisters' from the hall brought her a few of the tracts to hand out while she was in the hospital (like to nurses and whoever).
she hasn't been to the meetings for a while because she hasn't been feeling well so this was the first time she had seen them.

Oh wow. I've just read your thread and I have to say what a great person you are. I think you will be a wonderful presence in your friends life. At least she is not so deeply involved in the religon that she felt she should distribute the tract.
Show her as much unconditional love as you can. The religon won't give her that.

Do they come on this web site to solely antagonize individuals?
Some do and some don't. There are some of those really arrogant types who feel its okay to abuse exJWs over the internet. Hiding behind a computer is so brave But then you have those who are just plain curious. They can't resist talking to us. Before you came along we had a regular poster Defd/Derrick. He drove me nuts! But it fascinated me that he came here and chatted so regularly with everyone. I wanted to know what made him tick.
Do they really believe that what they are doing is right?
Yes they do! They feel completely fine with chastising people who've left the organisation. They've been told from the platform so many times about how wicked all apostates are. I truly believe some of them honestly grieve that we are no longer active JWs.These are the genuine people.
Do you think they are in a state of deep denial?
Some are so arrogant that the refuse to reason. They ignore what we have to say. Then you have those who read it, you see their responses and you know that its hit home with them. But they don't seem to be able to accept it. I don't know if it is that they are not emotionally ready to accept it or they are scared or some other reason.
P.S. Hows things going with finding a nice girl? I hope you find one!

Do you get stressed talking to JWs?
by jwfacts ini am a salesman, so will talk to anyone, anytime without fear.

At lunch time I was shopping with a colleague. We were in this store rushing about and this woman was in my way. I went to walk around her and she stepped into my path again. I looked at her properly and it was a JW from my old congregation. Straight away I thought, oh great... I don't want to talk to any JWs today. I got the usual 'we miss you at the meetings' b/s but I don't feel as guilty as I used to. yes I was stressed.

Welcome Art! I think your right, the interaction you can have on these boards will be an enormous help and support to you.
Just be careful not to let anyone who might share your computer to see your history...
P.S. How is the import/export business? hehehe
