Yes, perfect sense. The fat people get fatter and the thin ones get thinner. I also noticed the people who are most out of shape are never in a gym đ¤Ł.
what do you think about this?.

what does everyone think will happen next on the back of the coronavirus pandemic?.
these are my suggestions;.
1) coronavirus will have a disproportionate effect on jw âgrowthâ countries like in south america and africa.
WT WIZARD:
The JW religion is already as intrusive as hell in all things, so financially it goes without saying! Too bad their membersâ sensibilities have been so eroded they will agree to anything!
Certainly food would become more important than money if a famine were to occur. With regard to food and supplies, the religion has already become intrusive to their members - wanting lists of what people have in their cabinets at home!..If anybody were to ask ME such outrageous questions, they would be told in plain English that itâs none of their freakinâ business.

FARMERJIM1:
Youâve got some good ideas.
No 5: is the most certain. A Recession definitely means less money...Not so sure about No. 9..They can make all the suggestions they want about how much $$ people should give..but people out-of-work arenât giving them sh#t.
No 8: possibly a reduction in JW personnel (fewer COs); and No 10: more halls possibly will be sold maybe not all.
Nos. 2 & 3 are definitely possible. People may not want to physically go back to the meetings and actual field service as well. Some of these JWs were would-be faders anyway. Others might have been turned off by the intrusiveness of the Zoom meetings.

f. w. franz "times in which we are particularly interested" may 11, 1975. ;introduced by kenneth a. little, a much younger man than now for sure.. the clip is 8 minutes.. unfortunately, some idiot recorded over part of this day many years ago.
i am hoping to find another copy in the box..
PHIZZY:
Others have also said that the JW religion is floundering because they have no one âspecialâ like FF to come up with ideas..
Possibly. But, I wonder if the world is a little too far along in Time with so much that has happened OR has not happened for this to âworkâ again. I donât think anybody..even an actual miracle worker.. is going to bring the JW religion back to its heyday.
Maybe other people are more open minded to the idea the JW religion can reform or have a revival..but Iâm done with it.

VANDERHOVEN7:
Of course that was a political move but this quarantine went too far too long, IMO.
Even though Iâm no longer interested in religion, many people like religion in the background in their life. They like their churches and the smell of incense. It makes them feel good.
why do the elders always stress to the rank and file members of the congregation how important meeting attendance is, as well as the importance of always paying attention to every word that's being presented from the slave?
but then, during the meeting, they rarely sit and pay attention themselves to the wonderful spiritual banquet being presented?
they always seem so busy, don't they?
DAVROS:
As others have said, itâs about Control.
If they donât SEE you enough in person, the JWs canât criticize you about your attitude, activity etc. They need a physical presence for this. Being online or remote wonât cut it indefinitely.
Even Zoom wouldnât be enough (although I think itâs intrusive to have this in your home anyway).
besides growing up in the religion, why do you think people turn to jehovahâs witnesses?
.
what made you become a witness?
MINIMUS:
I think you might have asked a similar question before.
But for the sake of all the newbies Iâll say..itâs because I was interested in end-time prophecy back in the â70s and somebody led me to believe the JWs cracked some bible code.
They also said they had No clergy class and that everybody was equal. This was how I made the mistake of being sucked into the JW religion. I remedied this error twenty or so years later.
EYEUSE2BADUB:
Yeah, I get it and see the shade of difference in the language. I wasnât in the religion yet in 1969. I was a teenager and still a Catholic.
I came in the JWs in the late â70s. I was new in the workforce and would not quit my job to appease the Witnesses. Hell no! I saw people collecting their pensions. They were in the workforce so why would I not be.
Iâm curious though:..if somebody is told that they âwill never grow old in this system of thingsâ, at what age do they realize something might be wrong with this picture? Age Forty?? I would be uneasy..That still wouldnât be too late for somebody to do something about their retirement, IMO.
Good luck to them.
stay in period.
get deliveries of necessities so you dont go to store.
no contact except phone.
FINKELSTEIN & OVERRATED:
Yes, the JWs are awaiting a free and easy ride to Paradise.
Back in the day I said exactly that about JWs who were on the fringes of the workforce - looking for freebies and handouts! Meanwhile, I was criticized for my full time job..So, I never gave anything to these pioneers.
It is really despicable the attitude the Witnesses have about the rest of the world. I was always sickened by talk about them hoping to âlive in somebodyâs mansionâ.
This is also another reason why Iâm glad Iâm no longer in this religion.
i have been thinking about the legal departments that look after the wts interests around the world.i can`t believe these legal eagles offer their services on a voluntary basis like the r&f do.and i don`t believe their services would come cheap.. as an organization the size of jw.org and its offshoots of companys and interests around the world ,the cost of keeping them gainfully employed must amount to a considerable sum of money.. especially the law suits against them with child abuse court cases that arise on a regular basis ,and the government inquiry`s into the jw religion that is happening in different countries now.. all paid for by the voluntary contributions that come from the r&f for the worldwide preaching work .. contributions to pay for the wt organization`s legal department to defend themselves in court ?.
did jesus and the apostles pay lawyers to defend them in a court of law with funds donated by their supporters ?.
SILENTBUDDHA:
No, I didnât âjump off the deep endâ. I kept my job. For that I was criticized and hardly invited anywhere.
Now the JW religion is filled with needy people who didnât want to be part of the workforce..who instead preferred to knock on doors..Armageddon was supposed to have come to save them..This is really against the Bible because it ignores the example of the lowly ant âwho stores upâ.
The game plan now is for these people to target other Witnesses in the congregation for $$..The religion wonât help them..SO, any member who looks halfway decent, isnât downright crazy, has a job..can expect to REGULARLY be hit up left and right for cash like they were an ATM machine.
This is what I would be facing if I were still there!!! I hate being right all the time but I knew something like this would happen to these JWs who criticized ME for working.
